I threw up in a toilet, the pizza that I had just gobbled came out of my mouth. Disgusting."Fuck..." I cursed under my breath.
I sat down, leaning on the wall. Throwing up drained my energy, and I tried to catch my breath.
Where am I?
Oh right, I'm at Benjamin's party. The party was about celebrating the senior's graduation as I also passed freshman class.
"Kate? There you are! I've been looking for you idiot," the door suddenly opened.
It appears to be the person who I've admired. Admire? Or maybe I love her very much.
We became friends when I met her in orientation week, and it's been a year since now. Days have passed, I've become more attracted to her.
"Hey Steph, did I miss something?" I asked her.
She rolled her eyes, "well, you just missed my ranting about you disappeared."
She stood me up, and I used her shoulders as support, "is it me, or are you getting smaller?"
"That's impossible," she joked.
"Ah, come on! I'm not short," I playfully shoved her.
We laughed, and every time I met her beautiful brown eyes, I couldn't look away. Those eyes never failed to stick me like glue. Her voice and her laugh are as beautiful as classical music. And when her soft skin touches mine, I can feel goosebumps all over my body.
"What? is there something in eyes?"
I sighed.
Do you know you have beautiful eyes?
She laughed. Oh shit, did I say that out loud? It must be because the drunk overwhelmed me.
"Thanks," her cheeks look red.
Is that a green light? No, she can't like me back. I mean, she's straight.
She leads me out of the bathroom and to the living room, "are you driving me home?" I asked her.
"Yes, I have, too, since you don't have any friends other than me," she smirked.
"I have!" I protest, "I have my band."
"Oh right," she laughs.
I took in for a moment listening to her laugh.
"You know I love you, right?" suddenly escaped my mouth. Sometimes I can't control what I want to say and what I don't want to say when drunk.
She nodded, "Sure, Kate, I love you too. Now let's-"
I groaned. I hated to hear she loved me back, but she didn't mean it. She doesn't even know the love that I told her.
"What?" she asks in confusion.
"You don't understand how much my love is," I mumbled.
"What do you mean?"
I got up from her and realized what I had said. I swear if I opened my mouth again, I would regret it for the rest of my life. But it's too late. She's already curious.
"You know love is a strong word. I know that, and I use the word love for someone special. You use it like it's everyday life," I ranted.
She smiled and said, "well, thank you, it's flattering."
