Eric's POV
The next day
I silently watched the TV in admiration of all these films of heroes that Aunt Suki had. Most of which were of All might's first ever appearance.
Why she had them, I had no idea! I kinda just guessed she was a big fan of him when she was my age. "Eric, have you seen the can opener?" Aunt Suki called from the kitchen as I stood and ran in to see her struggling with the pickle jar.
"How should I know! I don't even like pickles!" Aunt Suki scoffed with a grin as she looked back at me, I smile with excitement running up to my Aunt I wrap my arms around her feeling safe in her warm embrace.
I was worried sick about her when I saw her friend in bandages and hearing that she was in the hospital in a coma I just didn't think what I'd dolast knowing I might not be able to hug her until she woke. "Morning, how'd you sleep?" Aunt Suki asked patting my head lightly as I let go and turn to face Hawks with an even larger smile. "Uh, good morning, I slept well" Hawks said with a grin as I run up to him and pull on his arm, I never really saw Aunt Suki with a boyfriend, and I wanted someone who could protect her and make her happy.
Someone like Hawks, not just because he was a famous hero who could help my Aunt with her business. But because I wanted to see her happy, without me being there to make her happy of course. "Aunt Suki! We should go to the park today! Since your work is well- rebuilding" I smiled up at my Aunt who smiled softly at me with an 'okay' face my smile widens as I look up at Hawks who pats me on the head before glancing at Aunt Suki with a frown.
"You should come to Hawks! It'll be fun!" This caught, his and my Aunt's attention, I thought I said something wrong. "Sorry, kid but I need to go on patrol today." Hawks smiled softly glancing from me to my aunt, as if sending a secret message, I frown. "Pleeeaaassseee, just for a little bit!" I begged using my puppy dog eyes knowing that it works on Aunt Suki and my mom all the time. "Eric, don't use those puppy dog eyes on him" Aunt Suki said sternly as I looked at her with my big bug eyes, she tenses and groans. It still works.
"Well, maybe a couple minutes won't hurt." I look back up at Hawks who tenses at my big eyes as well. "Pleeeaaassseee!" I begged once more widening my eyes to get the same face as Aunt Suki and mom does when they give into my cuteness. "As long as Rikidou is okay with it" Hawks looks at Aunt Suki with uncertainty and I look back at her, she sighs leaning against the counter and crossing her arms she smiles in defeat.
"Alright, just a few minutes nothing more, Hawks here has to get to work when something dangerous happens" I squeal in excitement and start jumping around until Aunt Suki clears her throat loudly bringing my attention back to her. She raises a brow. "Get ready now so that way we can get some ice cream along the way okay?" Aunt Suki smiled as I rushed into my room decorated in All might, Endeavor, Hawks and Kamui Woods postures, plushies, action figures, and a blanket of Hawks.
Third person POV later that day...
The three walked around in awkward silence, the stares they got from passersby and other civilians just seemed way more awkward than Hawks had thought.
"Hawks! Can I get an autograph?" A woman ran up to him with a large fangirl like smile, he grins with a wink and takes both her book and the pen she had and started writing something down
"Can, can you write, 'to Miho you're an amazing fan'" Miho, completely ignored the presence of Suki and Eric, Suki thought this was a perfect escape while Eric saw this as a chance to bring Suki and Hawks closer.
The book closed and he handed both the pen and the book back to Miho as she read over the autograph and squealed, just as she realized the two were there she frowns. "Are you two a couple?" She points a finger at Suki then to Hawks, Hawks blushes a bit while Suki held a disturbed and disgusted face, but couldn't deny the fact that she herself, was also blushing.
"No, were not together." Suki hissed as Hawks grinned lacing an arm around her, Suki glares at him hatefully and he pulls away "Okay so we're not together, doesn't mean you gotta be glaring at me princess" Hawks teased as Suki scoffs in disgust
"Call me that one more time and you're fired! I hired him as a bodyguard because of the collapsing building and all the poisonings. But all he's been doing since I hired him is flirting" Suki hissed looking at the girl taking Eric's hand they walk into the park, Hawks follows close beside her. "What was that about? Lying to my fans like that, it's kinda harsh" Hawks leans over to look Suki in the eyes that held anger and somewhat hunger.
She sighs and glares down at Hawks "You keep making them think we're a couple you're going to attract attention and that attention will be put both on Eric and I. Lying to your fangirls won't hurt anything. And it'll keep Eric safe" Hawks' eyes widened at her quick thinking.
He grins "So I'm a bodyguard now? Does that mean your warming up to me?" Suki glares calmly at Hawks as Eric runs up to the ice cream cart dragging Suki along with him
"Oh hey! I know about you, you're that woman from the collapsing building last week, and from the news yesterday. Are you and Hawks really a couple?" He smiled at Suki with a fanboyish expression Suki growls.
"No we're not a couple and yes he's here, I hired him as a bodyguard, after the collapsing I realized the poisonings and threats were only going to get worse. Honestly I should fire him right now, he's been nothing but a pain" Suki sighed as Eric asked for a scoop of chocolate, strawberry and a small scoop of vanilla
"Does your mom let you have that much sugar?" Suki asked placing a hand on the top his head. The man glances up "You babysitting or something?" Suki smiles at the man "You could say that, this is my nephew, Eric. I'm watching him while my brother and wife are out on a business trip" Suki explained before he got the wrong impression "Come on Aunt Suki! Mom doesn't have to know" Eric pouted with his puppy dog eyes, she gives in only a short amount of time allowing Eric to get the three scoops, Suki goes to grab out her wallet when the man behind the cart stops her
"It's on the house! After all you've been through, you're going to need it" He smiled politely as she smiled back, how nice of him.
