"What was that all about?" Alexander asked, sitting next to Tatiana and in front of Y/N, observing his sister's behaviour which had a drastic change in comparison to her usual output. "You just come into the carriage, slam the door and glare out the window; what made you get all like that you crazy git?"

"None of your business." Y/N answered, sighing as she continued to ponder whilst gazing through the window. Although, Alexander clearly didn't take scowling as gazing. "It's nothing, just my own stupidity." She reinforced, causing Tatiana and Alexander to give each other a small look before choosing to push it further.

"If you keep making that face you'll get premature winkles." Alexander declared, causing Tatiana to hold back small chuckles. "Who hurt you?" He asked once more, scrutinising the girl in front of him. "What's your damage, Y/N?"

"Some form of brain damage, perhaps a tumour." Tatiana whispered, brushing down her maid uniform as she uttered so, Alexander laughed at the remark and cleared his throat.

"I'll ignore that Tatiana, anyway, it's just Regulus being his usual self." Y/N answered in a candid manner; well not entirely candid but more or less bending the truth or simply not completely telling the whole truth.

"Oh is that the one you like?" Tatiana asked with great curiosity. "Alexander was writing to us back at the estate about what would happen between you two, everyday we received the letters with great delight, last I heard you were back in an argument." She nodded. "I don't see the point in arguing with the one you have such interest in."

"Alex you gossip!" Y/N groaned. "I suppose I can tell you, since I don't need to catch you up on anything else that happened, well, whilst on the train he invited himself into my compartment, Regulus and I bickered for a while until he sort of exploded into mush... just a great big ball of emotion I hadn't expected from him."

"Like what?" Alexander asked, on the edge of his seat.

"He recited Romeo and Juliet, I think he's lost his mind." Y/N answered truthfully. "He hates muggles, William Shakespeare happened to be a muggle, at least I think so, he gives off wizard vibes but we'll never know."  Y/N ranted further. "He practically told me how he was slowly falling for me and I think that's awful, don't get me wrong I feel quite strongly about him but he just shouldn't feel like that for me!" Y/N gripped at her hair before continuing. "He said it himself, we're oil and water."

"But he also did confess his feelings for you, shouldn't that be more than just being oil and water?" Tatiana asked, Alexander nodding profusely from next to the maid. "Or does how he actually feel not matter at all?"

"No... it does matter, don't get me wrong, but I can't pretend like what he says is inherently true and not some infatuation which will be short lived."  Y/N nodded to herself, her hands sat cold in her lap, his touch was electric, she wasn't used to being so close to him in a way that was more than platonic. "If he choses to discard of me or I tell him how I feel too late then the point will be mute, even then, you can't get hurt if you protect yourself."

"Y/N, I tell you this because you're my sister and I love you: you can't be too callous, one day he'll realise you're amazing but not worth waiting that long for, if you want to protect yourself then you're better off alone." Alexander shrugged. "If you don't let anyone in, especially the younger Black, then you'll forever be by yourself, no one will care and you will die alone since you will never learn to talk."
