40: The Voyage

   For the passed few days, all I did was stay at home and have video chats with my friends because they are all busy with either work or their family. It was mostly Mingyu whom I talk to through the line, he's in London right now for a one-month vacation to unwind.

   It was not that boring at all here in the house. Joshua's two girlfriends would come from time to time at separate times of course, because they could and shall never cross path for it will create chaos. I still find it unbelievable that a man of religion like him is a two-timer.

   Anyways, what kept me company for most of the day was Huihui, I got fond of Junhui's cat who was very affectionate towards me. Wonwoo also came back right after a three day-off. He is mostly I interacted with, aside from Junhui, since we got a lot in common when it comes to books.

   "Bye honey!" Joshua bid.

  "Goodbye!" As soon as the door had shut, Joshua turned around and had locked eyes with me who leaned against the wall.

   I chuckled. "What?"

  "Nothing. I just find it amusing that a man like you has two girls,"

   "A man like me?" he scoffed, raising an eyebrow.

   "Yeah, a religious man like you," I emphasized the word 'religious' which made him sigh.

   "There are more people in the world that are far worse than me, little red,"

   "So, you're justifying your sin?" he rolled his eyes as he laughed.

   "Not at all, little red. I do admit I'm a cheater, a hypocrite, but I don't really care of what people think of me," he added as he walked past me. I looked over my shoulder as I watch him walk further, and made his way to the living room.

   "Wow, what a jerk move," I muttered.

   Ever since I knew about his two-time affair...

   I can never look at him the same way I used to do. I used to view him as this gentleman who speaks delicately and calmly, but right now. I don't view him as that. On the bright side, it's his business anyways and not mine, so there's no need to stress much about it.

   Today is actually the day that Seungcheol and I are going to fly to Hawaii. The flight is at night which is an hour from now. All I had to do was get ready since I already got my stuffs packed up.

   Before hopping inside the car, Seungcheol and I bid goodbyes to his men. "Goodbye guys," I said as I gave Soonyoung a hug.

  "Don't forget to bring home souvenirs!" He exclaimed.

   "Will surely do!" I patted his shoulder before moving to Jeonghan who stood last.

   There was still an awkward tension between us which made us unable to hug. "Take care, hope the both of you have a good time a-and take care of yourselves," he casually said as he cleared his throat, avoiding eye contact.

   I smiled lightly before responding. "Don't worry about us, we can surely take care of ourselves," I reassured.

   Right after that, we hopped inside the car. Joshua drove us to the airport which was only a few miles. We'll be riding a private plane that my father owns which is why there's no hassle at all when we got there.

   We were immediately given the attention we needed and got escorted to the latter. We hopped inside the plane and sat on the comfortable seat. "Dinner will be serve in a few minutes right after we take off," the attendant spoke to me.

   "What drink would you like me to serve while you have dinner later?" she asked.

   "A champagne will do," I answered.

   "Okay, ma'am," She bowed before she left.

   The plane took off, and we soon had our dinner. Right after I ate dinner, I watch the outside of by the window, just enjoying the view. Meanwhile, Seungcheol was awfully quiet for the whole time, so I took a glance at my right side, where I found him deep in slumber.

   He must be real tired because of his hotel business.

   Days ago, he would come home late.

   This man also deserves a break.

   He was leaning his head by his side and it might hurt his neck. Plus, also the fact that he's crossing his arms which means he's cold.

   I called the attendant. "What is it, ma'am?"

   "Please fix his seat and give him what he needs. I want him to have a comfortable rest,"

   "Yes, ma'am," so then, she obliged.

   It took about ten hours for us to reach Kauai island because we had to take a stop over and change flight in order to reach the island. Everything's planned which is why the travel was smooth, but was exhausting.

   It's three in the afternoon when we reach our destination. We checked in the hotel. Seungcheol and I agreed to meet one another at the hotel's restaurant by seven at night.

   We agreed to rest since the travel really did beat our body. I entered the suit that my dad had booked for me. It was a vast place just for one person. There's the bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area and such.

   Moreover, the modern theme can really be seen due to the minimalist white walls and dark brown tiles; Glass tables, beige hutch, furniture, sofa that looks cozy and comfortable.

   The tables and countertop are all marbled-white. On top of that, what really caught my attention was the bed in the bedroom. As soon as I dove into it, I cannot help, but to close my eyes.

   "Finally," I muttered under my breath.
