My head is spinning. "Where am I? What? How?" I ask myself. That's when it all comes fluttering back. My life full of judgemental people but an amazing husband and beautiful daughter with the brightest blue eyes.
I break out of my trance and that's when I realize I'm in an alley way. I pull myself to the nearest wall and prop myself up to where my back is against it. My ribs hurt when I breathe in and I ache all over.
"Help!" I try to call out but it only comes out as a whisper. "Help me!" I call out, my voice suddenly stronger. "Help!!!" I manage to shout out. A stranger comes running over to me. "Call an ambulance!!!" I hear her call out or at least that's what I think she said. My head hurts and I slowly start to fade out again.
I start to come to in what I think is an ambulance. They keep asking so many questions like 'sir, can you tell me your name' 'what year is it' hell they even ask me 'who's our president'. It took everything I had not to say bull shit answers to get a kick out of the situation, or it could be that my head is spinning so much I can't even speak. I think I'm starting to slip unconscious again.
