Chapter 11 - Keeping Secrets Again

Later that day...

Location - Live House Comet

Your POV

The idea of me and my parents going to Sweden is still stressing me out. It has been bothering me all day, and when I brought it up with some classmates and the teachers, they were about as disappointed as I am. But while I was in school, I did my best to not think about it, and it was the same thing while I was at work at Live House Comet. But then, everything came crashing down when Morfornica came over to the live house, something I wasn't ready for.

"(Y/N)! Guess who is here?" Touko called out to me.

Oh man, them being here is the last thing I wanted. If I slip up and told them I was going to Sweden, then some hearts will be broken for sure, mostly Touko's. So until I can find the encourage to tell them everything, I'll have to do my best to keep it cool.

"Hi Touko. Hi everyone." I said as I came over to them, and kissed Touko on the lips.

"What brings you all doing here?" I asked.

"Touko-chan wanted to have band rehearsals here." Nanami said.

"And all because she wanted to see you while you were working." Tsukushi added.

"A lazy reason if you asked me." Rui sighed.

I guess it should be fine if I keep my distance.

"That should be fine. I'll go get a studio room ready for you guys." I said as I walked away to get it set up.

Meanwhile...

Location - Live House Comet, Studio Room

Touko's POV

I was happy that we were able to come here for rehearsals and for me to see my (Y/N). However, I can't help but think that... something is not right with him. Every now and then, I would peek through the studio door to see how he is doing. The others noticed this and questioned my actions.

"Touko-chan, what are you doing?" Mashiro asked.

"Oh, sorry, I guess I am just concern about (Y/N)." I said.

"What makes you say that?" Tsukushi asked.

"He just... seems distracted while he is working, like he has got something important on his mind." I said.

"Oh? What do you think it is?" Nanami asked.

"I don't know. Whatever it is... I hope it doesn't affect our relationship." I said and let out a small sigh.

"I'm sure it is probably nothing, Kirigaya-san. If (Y/N)-san had a problem, I'm sure he would've said something to you." Rui said.

"I guess..." I replied meekly.

"Now then, can we get back to band rehearsals? That is what we came for, am I right?" Rui asked.

"Yeah, let's start now." Tsukushi ordered.

We all agreed and continued with band rehearsals, but I was still thinking about (Y/N). Is it possible that he is hiding secrets from me again? How could he after everything we have been through? I'm going to get to the bottom of this.

Evening...

Location - Residential Area

Your POV

"(Y/N), do you think you can be a sweetheart and walk me home?" Touko asked as soon as I clocked out of work and got ready to leave.

"Of course I can." I smiled.

Touko and I said goodbye to the manager before heading out of the live house, then we started walking over to Touko's house, holding hands.

As we entered the neighborhood, Touko and I started talking.

"So, how was rehearsals today?" I asked.

"It was amazing as usual!" Touko replied, feeling energetic.

"Hehe, I could tell. You guys sounded awesome in that studio room." I replied with a smile. I might've been listening to them a few times.

"Thanks, hearing you say that has already made my day." Touko said, and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I began to blush a little bit.

"And how was work for you?" Touko asked me.

"Work was okay, I guess." I shrugged.

Touko's smile fell to a frown.

"(Y/N), are you okay? You don't seem like you're being yourself today." She said.

Oh no, she's getting suspicious. I need to play with cool so she doesn't find out that I am moving to Sweden.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I guess all of that work I have been doing has drained me, I guess." I said.

However, I could tell that Touko didn't look convinced.

"(Y/N), are you hiding something from me?" She asked.

"What? No, I'm not!' I lied.

"Are you sure?" She asked again.

"Yes, of course. You know I don't have any reason to hide anything from you." I said as I stopped in front of her and placed my hand on her cheek.

"But... you did that once before." She said sadly, referring to the time that I hid the fact that Comet was on the verge of getting shut down.

"I know I did that. But that was before we started dating. And now I am dating you, I promise not to hide anything from you again." I said.

"Do you mean it?" She asked one last time.

"Yes, of course." I said and kissed her on the lips.

That made Touko smile and the two of us continued walking again. But this time, there were a lot of stars in the sky, and a shooting star went over us.

"Look, a shooting star!" Touko said.

"Yeah, you're right! Did you make a wish, my love?" I asked.

"You bet I did!" She answered.

"Did you make a wish?" She asked, smiling at me.

"Yeah, I made a wish of my own." I replied. I wish I didn't have to go to Sweden, and stay here with the love of my life.
