The boys finally had finished filming their content earlier than expected. It was currently 8pm and they had decided to have a movie night. They might as well enjoy their free time and do something together. Kane had suggested watching a horror movie and the other boys all agreed, all excited, expect for Darren who didn't say anything. He actually didn't like horror movies but he didn't want to say anything to prevent the boys from making fun of him.

"Alright, I'll quickly go make some popcorn." Oliver said as he got up from the sofa and made his way to the kitchen, followed by Justin who suggested bringing more snacks.

Once Oliver and Justin returned and seated themselves onto the sofa, they started the movie. Darren was sitting beside Sebastian and Regie, collectively sharing a blanket. He hoped he felt comforted sitting in between them.

Around halfway through the movie, a jump scare caught Darren by surprise and he yelled out, quickly clasping his hands over his mouth. He was so embarrassed. None of the boys had yelled; they didn't think it was scary. The boys began to laugh as Darren pouted. Oliver thought it was cute.

"It's not funny!" Darren snaps back at them before standing up.

"Sorry bro, where are you going?" Sebastian asks in an apologetic tone.

Darren smiles at him in a manner to show that he accepts his apology. "Just the bathroom, I'll be back."

Darren proceeded to walk to the bathroom and locked the door. He stared as his reflection in the mirror and sighed. Stupid horror movies. Stupid him. Why did he have to be scared of a movie? It's just a film and he knows it's not real, but it still manages to scare him. He splashed water onto his face.

When Darren left to the bathroom, Oliver noticed that Regie had followed him. Oliver decided to go and do some investigating. He passed by the bathroom and saw Regie stood outside the bathroom door. Oliver assumed he was trying to scare Darren, which didn't seem like a good idea considering how Darren reacted to the jump scare earlier. Oliver ignored it and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water.

Just then Oliver heard Darren yell again, followed by Regie's laughter. He hurried to the bathroom where he found Darren stood still, his head dropped down. Regie had just ran away, still laughing.

"You okay, Darren?" Oliver asked as he slowly approached Darren who was visibly shaking.

Darren stayed put, not uttering a word. That's when Oliver noticed that Darren was in fact struggling to breathe. He grabbed hold of Darren's shoulders and shook him gently.

"Hey, Darren, calm down. You're okay, just take deep breathes." Oliver encouraged him. He grabbed one of Darren's hands and placed it on his own chest. "Try to breath at the same time as me."

Darren nods in response and tried his best to listen to Oliver, but he still felt agitated.

"Darren," Oliver suddenly cups Darren's face in his hands, his cool skin relaxed Darren. "Focus on only me and my breathing."

Then almost instantly, Darren seemed to be able to calm down and his breathing had slowly returned to normal. "T-Thank you." Darren muttered.

"Anytime." Oliver smiled and pulled Darren into a hug, who returned the embrace. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, now I am." Darren replied before smirking at Oliver, who chuckled.

They decided to go back to the living room once Darren had completely calmed down to continue watching the film only Oliver sat next to Darren. He wanted to reassure him incase he got scared again. He wanted to comfort him. Oliver slid his arm around Darren and hoped he felt safer now.

Darren definitely felt safer for the rest of the movie.
