Rachel's POV-
So it's my 14th birthday! Today at school, my parents threw me this big surprise party !!! And guess what?! The boy I have a crush on, Justin Bieber wished me a happy birthday!! Can you believe it?! I almost passed out! I was completely caught in the moment. "Hey Rachel?" He tapped my shoulder, "I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday," then he gave me a hug. "Thank you so much, means a lot!" I said to him. He walked away and slowly rubbed the back of his neck shyly.
I ran up to my friend Brittney excitedly saying, "Brittney!! J-Justin wished me a happy birthday and hugged me!!! Wow I'm so happy! Best birthday ever!"
I said. "WOAHH! Calm down there Rachel!" She laughed and placed a hand on my shoulder, "So what are you doing later today Rachel?" She asked. "I have no idea. Might go out to the movies later or to the mall. Want to come?" I asked her. "Of course I will. Will Justin be there?" She playfully nudged my shoulder and winked and I could not take her seriously.
Justin's POV-
I'm surprised myself that I had the guts to walk up to Rachel myself and hug her and wish her a happy birthday. If I'm honest with you, you have to be sure not to tell anyone.. I have a crush on Rachel.. Shhhh! Don't tell her! I'm trying to work up the guts to ask her to go the mall with me later, but I'm scared she'll have other plans.. With other people! I mean, let's be honest here, Rachel is one of the most popular people at this school! I saw Rachel walking down the hallway. "Uhh, Rachel?" I started off, "Can we talk for a quick sec?" I asked her. "Of course we can," she replied and skipped down the hallway, "What can I do for you?" She asked. "Umm so I need to ask you," I rubbed the back of my neck nervously, "do you have any plans for tonight?" I finished. Rachel's eyes practically bulged out of her head, "No I don't. Are you asking me to go somewhere with you?" She asked. "Uhh, I actually am. Is that a yes? Is it to much to ask?" I snaked out. "Yes! Of course! And no! I will go! No problem! What time?" She responded, "How about after school?"
I asked her. "Okay! Definitely!" She said and walked down the hallway.
