Drawn Together - A Lams Fanfiction (Collab With E_musician)

Chapter 3

(John POV)

Herc came over the next day and got seated next to me so the camera could see him. "Ready to go Alex?" I call from my room. "Yep!" I hear him call back and I start the stream. "Hello everyone! Today we have a special guest, Mr. Hercules Mulligan… aka the biggest MLP stan in history."

 “This is who I’ll be drawing today oh and the chat is calling you a brony.” I start to die of laughter almost to the point I can’t keep my tablet stylist straight. “I’m not that big of a my little pony Stan just draw”, Herc says. “Ok ok calm down”, I say and begin to draw.

I immediately start drawing Herc as a my little pony and the chat L O V E S it. I hear Alex laughing since he's watching the stream too. "A little more jawline." Herc adds and points to the pony's head. I've lost it. I'm laughing and the lines for the drawing are coming out as scribbles. What's even happening anymore.

Once I finish the drawing both me and Herc are in tears from laughing so much. “Well unless you have any requests that’s the end of the stream for now”, I say through laughter before looking at the chat to see suggestions.

RandomUser1: Draw your roommate!
RandomUser2: we wanna see what your roommate looks like!
RandomUser3: Please draw your roommate! *donated $10*
RandomUser4: WE NEED TO SEE HIM! I BET HE'S HOT!

 “I told you guys I really don’t think he’s comfortable with that-“, I start to say before Herc cuts me off with, “I bet you could convince him John.” I see Alex type in the chat: you guys don’t want to see me suggest something else. 

A couple people give up and start requesting more angles for Herc as a pony and different poses, but the majority continues asking for Alex. Eventually I give in and give them a clue. "Yeah he's hot as heck." I say then turn off the stream as Herc and Alex burst out laughing, thinking I was joking.

 “Wow Laurens what a way to end the stream”, Alex says while laughing. “You know me- making dramatic exits”, I say while trying to keep composure, “But uhm out of curiosity would you ever join me on a stream for me to draw you lex?”

"Maybe… just not now.. maybe when I'm feeling more comfortable with all of this. You have a lot of subscribers and I don't want to be the reason you get banned or something." He says and scratches the back of his neck. I nod. "That's understandable. But you won't be the reason I lose subscribers or get banned. That's Hercs job. His language will get me banned for sure." 

 “Also me staying anonymous for now lets me go to the store without being pestered”, he says with a small laugh. “I’ll give you that one it’s helpful”, I respond. “Until I’m ready though I’ll just stay as your chat monitor- but I suppose you can at least confirm my name for them finally”, Alex says. 

"Well we can do that on tonight's stream." I smile. "Do you think I can also tell them small but useless details about you? Like I did today?" Alex nods. "Yeah that's fine. You can tell them false ones too. Like how I sleep." He jokes. "But you don't- oH but that's mean."

 Either this is going to fuel the fire or help put it out. I’m hoping this calms down the chat for a bit that way Alex feels like he’s doing this more on his own then by chat force. “Draw Herc a pony friend”, Alex interrupts my thought process with. 

"What?" I ask and laugh a bit, "what do you mean? I'm not even streaming?" Alex shrugs. "Draw me as a pony but leave out defying details? That could help calm things down too." He says. "That… that's genius Alex!" I cheer then grab two beers from the fridge. That's right, we're both legally allowed to drink.

 After a couple hours I start the next stream. “Sooo chat I have been given permission to tell you a bit about my roommate”. The chat immediately blows up. I guess they really want to know more about Alex. I can’t really blame them, he's a lot of fun to get to know better.

"So my roommate is a short little Troll who's like 5 feet tall and he is grumpy." I say and hear a groan from Alex's room. "As you can tell by the groan, the gremlin is either hungry or unhappy. Never tired though." I laugh more.

 “I was also given permission to confirm his name. My roommate who is also my chat monitor is named Alex.”, I say, “And I’ll actually be drawing him as a pony friend for Herc. If y’all calm down he might actually come on the stream one day”, I say. 

The chat dies down and I start drawing Alex as a pony. I keep his pony tail and brown eyes but leave out his goatee. He can't be a goat AND a pony. Science don't work that way.

  “Wow finally a peaceful night in the chat”, I joke, “Well here is a pony that looks vaguely like Alex. No he’s not going to come in here and look at it right now he’s monitoring this stream to keep y’all in check.” 

That earned a couple nasty comments, dislikes and middle finger emojis in the chat. Luckily, because Alex was modding the chat and not looking at this monstrosity, he was able to kick them out and block them. "Yay! The haters are gone!!" I cheered and laughed.

 “And this is why we need a chat mod”, I end with, “See you all tomorrow for another art stream.” I end the stream and head to Alex’s room. “Another day more people blocked”, Alex says getting up from his chair. “Well someone has to keep them in check and that just so happened to be you”, I say.

"Thanks." He chuckles and walks with me back to my room. "Ready to see your pony?" I ask him, holding my tablet to my chest so he can't see. He laughs and shakes his head for a second then nods. "Yep. I guess I am." He sighs.

 I show him the pony and he starts laughing. “Nice one”, he says before pausing and taking a deep breath, “And if you’ll have me- I think I’m finally ready to show myself on your stream tomorrow.”
