3'. THE HIGHLIGHT

Hey guys, how have you been doing. You'd have to forgive me for another short chapter.

If you're wondering what happened on Monday, we finished arranging the room late because of CHAVI (I'll blame her cause she didn't start arranging her things early) and the rest of the days we spent it on catching up on people, well they, I spent mine reading as much books as I could and researching on things. Well today was the day of the party,everybody was hyped about it(everyone is always hyped about the parties tho because there's always a new gist that goes around after it plus the parties are always nice if you like dressing up, dancing,alcohol and sex).
We always go late to parties because according to the girls that's when the actual fun begins. You guys know how teen/college parties go(we dress up just like every other girl and get to the destination). Well I wasn't enthusiastic about this party, but I still went(personally to help the girls out if they get drunk, it's not entirely safe to be drunk and alone at these kind of parties). When we arrived the party was in full swing, you could see a group of girls wearing basically nothing(but who's judging them) holding a welcome back banner, then some were already getting cozied up(if you know what I mean)

We made our way towards the game room where Shawn and his friends would be. While the girls were having 'fun', I found my way around to look for somewhere quiet(well there any quiet places/corners not being used except the rooftop,don't even ask me how I got there) and guess who I saw on my way here. April that's who I saw(she's an influencer that Shawn always hangs out with but we all know it's more than that). There was no need informing Chavi about her presence, after all she came to have fun not to be worried over a fool.
I was finally away from everything, I found a place at the rooftop where I could sit down and brought out my phone to resume reading of course.

I didn't even know that two hours had already gone until I heard shuffling of feet, I looked up and saw a guy whom I've never seen before or probably don't recognize (it's normal to come across people you don't know but this stranger had handsome features which I could tell from the dim light, imagine if I could see him well enough). As the person came closer, I scurried downstairs to avoid human interaction(you know what they say STRANGER DANGER), I came down to a full blown house party meaning everywhere was too packed and I found the girls playing spin the bottle, so I just went around trying to keep myself busy by myself then it happened so quickly and rather harshly or aggressively... THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE PARTY.

Two days have passed and the talks and whispers about the HIGHLIGHT has not reduced in any way, like worse has happened and people are probably exaggerating because she's a model (probably a good and bad thing on her side). The lecturers just seem aggressive, I already have three assignments to do(like y'all should calm down) and they would soon that giving group projects. I'm currently in the library getting some things done plus the WiFi here is really fast , considering the party last week none of us got hurt and Chavi didn't see April luckily but the model I talked about earlier got caught having sex in a flower bush of all places, well someone caught her and called the attention of other people so now she's trending.

"Some people can't just grow up" Princess said annoyed
"Can you believe some guys were mocking a girl for wearing a particular skirt and how did they notice that"
"They'd soon realize there are more important things to do, I can bet that they're fresher" I added. I wasn't even surprised
"Yes, it's so easy to pick out freshers. They don't even hide it"

After some time of comfortable silence I broke it "I saw April at the party"
"I'm sure Shawn invited her" princess said with a look of disgust
"I didn't tell you guys that day because I didn't want to spoil the mood, you guys came to have fun"I explained
"It's okay, I'm sure if you told us then Chavi would have been the one trending by now for horrible reasons"
"Anyways, Nelson called me out to see him this evening so I'll have to leave you here baby" she said referring to her boyfriend
"Okay,bye"

Well I still had one more assignment to do and it's just three so there's still time. I don't know why I have this strange feeling someone is looking at me, if I'm right, they should better stop it's creepy(giving Joe vibes)
I was picking up some books but I wasn't watching where I was going cause I was too deep in thoughts.
'SMACK' and my books fell over the floor, I looked up to register what was going on. I saw a cute girl looking all flustered
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going"she said while rushing to help me up
"It's fine, I'm also guilty. I wasn't watching where I was going too" I said and bid her farewell, no need for pleasantries. Besides this should be a sign that I need to start going back to the hostel, I've tried for today

Sorry for the late update guys but now it's here. Shawn doesn't sound like the ideal boyfriend, does he?. Someone should tell Aniyah that her friends are old enough enough to take care of themselves 😂😂😂.
