I woke up, slowly but surely. Last night was rough. I'd stayed up working on exam papers, which still weren't done. I grabbed some clothes and got dressed. Afterwards, I did my hygiene stuff, and grabbed my bag. I left the dorms and started to my first period.
I opened the door and was immediately confused. My mother, the dean of our university, was standing in the front of the room. "Ah! Caitlyn! How nice of you to join us." She said with annoyance. I'm early though...
I sat down in my spot. There was only a few people in the room, since it was about 15 minutes before class actually started. I examined the room, there seemed to be an older, but quite attractive, woman standing beside my mother.
I looked her up and down, she had short pink hair, glasses, and a few tattoos. She must be amazing at her job, because my mother has never been one to let people who looked like trouble into the school. This must've been a first.
My mother introduced her as Violet, or Prof. Vi. She was our new history professor. For unknown reasons, Prof. Zaun has quit unexpectedly, so we're stuck with her. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my text book as the dean left.
"Hey class. Sorry, this is probably kind of weird. Professor Zaun quit quite suddenly, so yeah. I'm not really sure what to do here as a first day, so how about we just talk?" Professor Vi said from the front of the auditorium. I hated when teachers tried to be cool, which it kind of seemed like she was doing, but clearly she was just not sure on what to do.
"Ah! You, what's your name?" She pointed at me. I jumped awkwardly. "Uhm, Caitlyn?" I said, stuttering slightly. "Okay, Caitlyn. Like cupcake?" I glared at the woman, the nickname was quite annoying. "I guess." I said rudely.
She snickered. She went around the class and got everyone to introduce themselves as more people came in. After class was over I realized I had zoned out, and Professor Vi was packing her things.
"Hey, cupcake. Good of you to finally wake up." She smirked at me and walked down the stairs from the stage, and up the ones that led to me. I scoffed and rose my eyebrow. "I meant to keep you after class anyways. I was reading through your report. You're the dean's daughter, correct?" The professor moved to sit on the desk in front of me. I stood up to leave while grabbing my things.
"Yes, I am. And if you'll excuse me-" "Actually hun, I have a few questions." This quite intrigued me, I sat back down slowly. "So... Does your mom know you're gay?" My heart sank. "I-I- That's very inappropriate for someone like you to be asking a student!" I yelled. She chuckled. "What are you gonna do, tell your mother? She clearly doesn't know. Probably waiting on you to go out with Mr. Talis."
I blushed and looked away. "No need to freak out, my gaydar is on point at this point. I am too." I looked back at her surprised. I was confused as to why she was asking me, and how she really knew.
"So, how'd you know?" She scoffed and slid her hand a little bit closer to mine on accident. I picked mine up and put it in my lap. "Sorry. You're report says you got into some trouble with a protest last year. Gay rights. Your mom wasn't told you were involved right?" I nodded my head to agree.
"Well that's all. Have fun, stay safe. I'm here if you need anything is all." I smiled at her. "Thank you professor." "No need. Just Vi outside of class, cupcake."
I frowned at the nickname and left. Weird.
The next day it honestly only got weirder. For some reason I felt so attracted to her. Every move she'd make, I'd watch intensely. I had a feeling she knew because she'd catch me staring and we'd make eye contact. Every time I'd look away quickly and blush, but I couldn't stop.
She handed us our homework for the week. An essay. I sighed. I closely inspected the work, seeing a bit of an outline from pink sharpie on the back of the paper. "Stay after class, if you want some help ;)"
I quickly turned the paper over and turned beat red. Oh fuck. She knew.
The night after she made me stay after class, I looked her up online. She was 24, single, and went to this exact college. She had just graduated a year before I came here. The first thing that popped into my head once I saw her age was that we're only 5 years apart. I covered my face after that.
Returning back to reality, it seemed I'd zoned out again, staying after class anyways. The last few people left the room and I started to pack up.
Vi walked over, sitting back on the desk. "I'm the inappropriate one huh?" I looked her dead in the eyes, mine wide from embarrassment. "I-I-" "No need, cupcake. It's alright. But you probably shouldn't be looking at me like that at school." She winked and walked down the stairs. Waving me off. "You're dismissed."
I walked back to the dorms grumbling, but for some reason extremely turned on.
I got back to my place and laid down, trying to ignore the painfully growing feeling of hormones in my pants. Finally, it went away and I fell asleep. I didn't dream that night. Unless you count wet dreams.
