Stranded

Chapter 5

All I could do was stare in shock we had already been out here for two days and now we might actually have hope. The first thing I said was LAND HO In a sarcastic voice. We all started paddling trying to get closer to the island.

~the lost island~

We were thankful when we got out of the cramped boat. The first thing we did was start to scan the island looking for food a good place to stay. We were happy to find a nice clearing out in the forest and made temporary huts small enough for only one person each. This will do for now I said. Now lets scout for food only fruit right now until we have weapons for everything else.

~the hunt~

On the way through the forest scavenging for food we saw the most peculiar looking birds plants and other animals we saw cats the size of bears plants that walked and many other species never seen before. After we got enough fruits berrys and a series of roots and vegetables we headed back to camp. We were all starving from a long day of walking, scavenging, and work. We ate raw vegetables and fruit for supper. Not exactly the best meal imagined but at least we had something to eat. After a long day of hard work we all were tired and needed sleep. Everyone said goodnight and fell asleep.

~end of day one~

When I woke up mom was up and about. And there was a fire someone had started a fire. Who started the fire I asked sleepily? "Allen" she said casually. Where is he now I said? There was no answer. HELLO? where is he now? "He's missing him and Annalee". I stood in shock. Thinking about what could have happened to them and then it became to much for me to comprehend all that had been happening. And I blacked out
