*Tyla's POV*
"Alright breathe with me okay." I take his two large hands into my smaller ones locking eyes with his as if to tell him there is no getting around this.
We figure this out now.
As we breathe together a million of my own questions flood my mind.
There is a time for questions and it's not right now. Peter needs me.
Peter's breathing finally evened out, it was time to get to the bottom of this.
"Good job Pete" I lightly praise slowly letting go of his hands "Now let's start from the start... When is the start?" I ask, still unsure of when all of his worries started in this whole situation.
"The fight" He replies in a whisper
"What about the fight?" I ask with a furrowed brow.
"It was scary" he starts as I sit back watching him relive the experience, "I have never seen something like that happen in front of me to anyone apart from Mr Barnes" Peter began finding the correct order for his thoughts.
"Seen what happen Pete?" I push a little,
"The switch" he replied, looking me dead in the eye.
"I don't know what you're going on about Pete you're gonna have to explain to me, give me more details" I explain shifting on the bed so I am facing him.
A blanket of silence covers the room for a few moments, I can tell he's trying to sort through his memories and feelings but that in itself has me a little on edge.
It's not that deep. Is it?
"When you got started it was clear to everyone that you were angry that Mr Barnes was pulling his punches" he started
"Well yeah, I was" I admitted "But so what? I was a little angry, I just wanted to be taken seriously"
"Well as the fight progressed he also started to get angry. After that, you were a different person it's almost like you clicked into another body. But so did he."
So many thoughts were running through my head and I knew Peter could tell. There was definitely more to the story and I needed to hear it so I nodded at Peter to continue.
"Ty I don't think now is the tim-"
"No Peter I need to know so I can fix it" I cut him off
"You don't have to fix everything Tyla" he replies with an exasperated sigh.
"This I do. I hurt two people within the last 48 hours that also within that amount of time have become very important people in my life. I need to fix this and then figure out why it happened." I was stern with Peter and as much as I hated every moment of it I needed to hear it.
"Okay." he took in a long breath, "When Mr Barnes caught your kick while he was down, there was a moment of stillness and a look in each of your eyes. I'd seen it in him before The Winter Soldier was written all over his face"
I took in a sharp breath, I brought out the side of Bucky that he hated most, and part of me obviously meant to do it.
I did that. Me. The one he trusts.
"But that's not even the end Ty, you had a look in your eye that would rival his. In all the times I have seen you in training with me I have never EVER seen you fight like that. Like a switch flicked and all of a sudden, you were a super soldier that had been trained by hydra for 70 odd years. You were evenly matched.'' By the time Peter had finished talking my mind was running wild taking in every piece of information I had just been given.
