You walked into school with your head held high.

It was February 1st, and things were going great for you.

You were popular, had a boyfriend, and was on TV.

"Hey." Sophie said, walking up next to you.

"Hey Soph." You smiled.

You and Sophie were in the same homeroom this year, along with Paige.

You met up with Paige and you all walked to class.

"Did you hear about the new girl?" Paige asked, sitting in a desk next to you.

"No." You replied.

"Yeah, well she's gorgeous." Paige stated.

"Wow Paige." Sophie laughed.

"I'm tellin the truth."

"Alright class, take your seats." The teacher demanded.

You all sat down.

"Alright, we have a new student going us today. Class, please welcome Eliza."

Wait what?

You looked up, and sure enough there was the pretty blonde hair'd green eyed girl from Nationals.

Except, no pink streaks.

"Hi." She said shyly.

"Take a seat anywhere." The teacher stated.

You motioned her to a chair next to you.

Her face lit up when she saw you.

"Hey (Y/N)!" She smiled.

"It's been so long!" You said, bringing her in for a hug.

"I know."

"Girls." The teacher warned.

"Sorry." You mumbled.

You turned around and found Josh.

"Hey." You smiled.

"Let's sit."

You see, the school has the freshman from the high school have a class with the eighth graders in the middle school, since the schools are right next to each other.

"Josh, this is Eliza, Eliza, this is Josh, my boyfriend." You said.

"Nice to meet you." Eliza said.

"You too." Josh smiled.

"Alright class, we will be working on an assignment where you wrote about how teens deal with stress." The teacher said.

"And you will be working in pairs."

You grabbed Josh's hand before the teacher finished the sentence.

"Alright, I guess we're working together." He smirked.

"And I will be choosing your partners!" The teacher added.

You rolled your eyes and groaned.

This teacher hated you.

They never put you with Josh, and always put him with the pretty girls, and you always got Jake.

You and Jake turned out to be great friends, and he stated dating Chloe a few months ago.

"Alright, (Y/N) with Jake, Eliza with Josh..."

And yeah.

You got a little jealous when Eliza got paired up with Josh.

But you trusted Eliza, you knew she would never try to steal Josh from you.

She was to good of a friend to do that.

Boy were you wrong.
