"65 thousand mewnian credits all in gold as we promised madam for your... troubles," said a hooded man as he handed over a briefcase containing the payment in question. In the briefcase there neatly stacked were bars of gold which brightness filled the empty void surrounding the deal. The mysterious woman reached her hands out, revealing a small zip lock pouch. She took a glimpse at the bars of gold, carved into them were the markings of a spider.

"Well, it better be worth all this trouble" the woman replied as she handed over the pouch before taking the briefcase and disappearing back into the shadows. The man looked at the pouch he had acquired and thought to himself. So much, for such a small package. He raised the pouch against the moonlight, illuminating a few spherical objects. He then pocketed the pouch before reemerging with a pair of dimensional scissors.

...

A portal opened in the cellar. The hooded man stepped out of the portal and looked around him. The cellar was dimly lit with warm burning lamps lining the sandstone columns creating a cosy but murky atmosphere. In the middle of the cellar stood a long wooden table decorated with lilac cloth. On its sides, sat masked and other hooded figures, their hands fisted firmly on the tabletop. The hooded man ran alongside the table until he reached the end where he came face to face with the leader of the group. You could tell he was different as he wore a distinctive brown crown and his attire differed from those around him. His bear-skinned cape hid his attire well but from a glance you could tell the peak of bright-coloured garments from beneath which were barely noticeable by the dullness of the bronze breastplate he wore. The hooded man gave him a bow and then handed over the pouch containing the spherical contents.

"It's amazing how nature can sometimes give us the most potent weapons," the man spoke softly and with an intelligent demeanour, "it's a shame the High commission and the royal family failed to see it's potential" He placed the pouch down before continuing with his speech. "A little update ladies and gentlemen, it's been 5 months since the Meteora incident and 4 since..." He paused to let off a sigh "Star... gave the crown to bloody Eclipsa which I remind all of you is the reason we exist!" The crowd pounded their fist in unison as the man's volume increased. "Our crops are burnt, Mewmans wander streets homeless as Monsters receive the highest of treatment, our capital lies in ruins and destruction and the Queen of darkness herself has returned to power." The man raised his hand and the pounding ceased. "With this, the stage is set, the dominoes of our plot are falling. Everything is in order," He took a glimpse at his pocket watch, "Our time is now, ladies and gentlemen, the time for change and the time for Mewni to return to its former glory. We will bring forth the end times to an era and we will be the ones who will rise to the peak of our success. It's about time for somebody to lead Mewni proper. Someone to lead Mewni the correct way." His speech ended with the explosion of synchronised pounding of fists on the table. A smile emerged as a crack on the man's face as the pounding reached its crescendo.

"Agent number 2, have you contacted the Solarian?" his voice returned and the room fell into silence again. "Yes my liege, she has agreed to the terms and has sworn her loyalty to us."

"Well then, the butterfly is in our sights and like a spider, we will pounce..." he paused before standing and lifting up his goblet, the others followed. Behind him loomed the flag of the organisation, the same spider engraved on the bars of gold before.

"For Shastacan" he declared as he raised his goblet. The crowd echoed with his words. He smirked and whispered under his breath "And I.. King for life".
