4' OVER-REACTING

I'm currently in class but the Lecturer isn't here yet, which explains why the class is so noisy, different groups hurdled around talking about the latest gist around Shill University with the help of the school's Twitter page and gossip blogs.
When they(DAVID EARL, LUCAS WANDILE and IAN BASIL) entered people stopped their gossip and rushed to fawn over them, everyone wanted to be their friend considering they were top influencers and fashion icons in the country and well-known in the world(I wouldn't blame them), I wasn't one of their fans, I didn't hate them either, right now I just wanted the period of this class to end or be dismissed.
"You guys should stop clustering them, can't you see they're not interested ", a girl named Cindy shouted.
I hissed under my breath, isn't she doing the same thing
"Girl, it looks like you need that advice more", Gloria retorted back
"Excuse me" she asked clearly surprised
"You heard me", I liked this Gloria girl cause she was plain
"The list for psychology partners is out", someone shouted distracting everyone from the brewing lash out about to happen
"The class has been dismissed", another person called out while the class was rushing to see the list. Wow today must be my lucky day, in as much as I love books I hate classes but I must attend them cause I hate slacking(ouu, that rhymes). I waited until the crowd reduced before I went to check out the list on the board.
I'm paired with WHOOOO, I managed to steer clear from them now I'm paired with one of them, I haven't even spoken to any of them before, this list is definitely not in my favor. How can I be paired with Ian, I can't believe I'm paired with Ian Basil. So let me get this straight, I have to work with someone I have never spoken to or had the need to. I don't know why I'm making a big deal out of this, this is normal.

I was still thinking about this till I got to my room, immediately I entered I saw the girls gathered around all serious
"Aniyah, we've been waiting for you", Adunni called out immediately I entered
"This looks serious, is there any problem?" I asked
"Haven't you seen it yet. It's all over social media" Chavi called out rather happily
"No, I haven't been on IG and Twitter yet" I said quickly checking my phone for what this was all about.
"That girl just can't back down" Adunni said seething
Woah!, apparently there were pictures of April and Shawn leaving a hotel together.
"What I don't get out of all these is why you're happy" I told Chavi, isn't she meant to be angry and calling Shawn for an explanation
"Same thing we've been asking her since we came here" Princess said with frustration apparent in her voice.
"Well girls, now that Aniyah is here" Chavi said causing us to keep quiet
"I'm breaking up with Shawn" she finally said
"Wait, what?" Princess said looking too surprised
"It's as simple as that, he's done more than this and this is the last straw. Considering it all started as a P.R. relationship and the contract has been way over, I'm done with his ass" after Chavi spoke there was silence
Then princess and Adunni broke it simultaneously "Finally"
"I'm honestly happy for your decision" I said smiling
"We all are", Adunni spoke up after me
"I know I'm doing it over text now, I wanted you guys to witness it" she said happily
"Can I please do it on your behalf, I have a lot of pent up anger for the moron" princess asked pouting at Chavi
"Fine, you'd write yours after I've written my part" she smiled
Actually we all wrote our parts of the break up message. It wasn't long, it was a moderately short message with all that needed to be said.

"Sent", Chavi shouted happily
"The deed is done" I said smiling
"Now we blow bubbles and fight crime" Princess shouted
"You didn't have to add that Princess" Adunni laughed at her childishness
"Now I can focus on those hotties in your class Aniyah" Chavi said dreamily
"You're friends with them Chavi" I pointed out
"Doesn't mean I can't hype them or crush on them" she said flipping her hair. Talk about dramatic
"Aniyah you're so lucky, you get to see their gorgeous faces everyday" Adunni called out
"Yes and they're so nice to top it off" Princess added
"How can you not like them, they're honestly everything" Adunni shouted while the girls looked at me. Yeah do I have to repeat myself everytime they come up
"Well I don't hate them either" I told them yet again
"And besides I have other things to worry about"
"Can you believe I was paired with one of them". I told them frustratingly
All of them looked so happy hearing the news
"Ouu, which one" Chavi said coming too close to my face. I stood up to change my clothes while I spoke
"Ian Basil" i answered
"OMG!, the mysterious Ian Basil" Princess squealed
"You are so lucky" Adunni spoke immediately after
"Chill guys, it's just a pair up, I'm not dating him or something" I said
" I'm just frustrated because I've never spoken to them before and I don't even know how I'm going to tell him and work things out. Plus I don't want someone acting snobbish to me" I gave out my thoughts of frustration
"They're actually nice so you don't need to worry about them acting snobbish" Adunni said
"And yes even Ian" Princess added
"You know what, they're having a party this weekend, so you can use the opportunity to tell him" Chavi suggested happily
"Plus you get to have fun too"Chavi added
"Ouuu, so party this weekend then" Adduni said
"With the gorgeous hunks" Princess added
"You have a boyfriend oooo" I informed Princess.

Yayyyyy, Chavi finally broke up with Shawn. Do you feel her reaction was uncalled for or silly. And the hype about these boys is too much 😒 plus Aniyah is behaving like she hasn't worked with worse people she didn't know.
