Lost stars

Intro

"Thane Kyrell. He deserted the imperial navy two years ago. We were told by Lieutenant Commander Ciena Ree that he killed himself. Supposedly that was brought on by survivors guilt from the death star" The admiral sat behind his desk as he looked across the table at the soldier standing on the other side of this room.

(If you recognize these guys then you know what's up. Force unleashed for the Wii was the shit!)

"This would hardly be the first case" Captain (y/n) (l/n) replied from under his helmet.

"Unfortunately you're right. We believe she may be lying. We've received word that Kyrell may have joined the rebel alliance. According to academy records the two have been close since childhood, we'd like you to watch Lieutenant Commander Ree and report to me everything she does. We need to know if she deliberately lied to believes what she told us, and more importantly, if she is still in contact with him" the admiral held out a datapad to (y/n). "This is everything you'll need to know about her"

"I doubt she'll be happy to have me on board, sending everything she does to you" (y/n) replied as he took the datapad.

"For all she knows you're just a new tactician aboard the Executor" the Admiral replied as he waved it off.

"The Executor? That's-"

"Lord Vaders super star destroyer, yes. Ree was assigned there right before Hoth. Lord Vader is the only one on the ship aware of your true mission" the man stood up signifying the end of the meeting. "The executor leaves in two hours. I expect you to be on it in half that"

"Sir, yes sir" (y/n) nodded before exiting the admirals office.

An hour later (y/n) had finished loading his things into the his private bunk. He'd be put in the barracks but given the sensitivity of (y/n)'s mission he was given a private bunk, these were usually saved for higher up members of the fleet.

"Let's see what we've got here" he said as he sat on his bed and pulled out the datapad that the admiral had given him. As it turned on it showed a picture before showing the information about her.

There was more but (y/n) was forced to stop reading when a knock came from his door. (Y/n) turned off the datapad and placed it on the bed. "Enter!" He called causing the door to slide open.

"Captain (l/n)?" (Y/n) looked as the female entered through the door. "I'm Lieutenant Commander Ciena Ree, I was sent to see that you're settled in. I'm also supposed to help you with anything you'll need"

'Vader wants this done quickly if he sent her to me. That makes this a bit harder' (y/n) though yo himself before nodding. "Thank you Lieutenant Commander" the male replied as he pulled his helmet off and smiled at her. He needed her comfortable around him if he was going to achieve his mission, so taking off the helmet was probably a good start. "I think I'm sufficiently settled in"

"Excellent. Shall I show you to the bridge then? Or is there something else you needed to do first?"

"The bridge should be fine" (y/n) replied with a nod. "It's best not to keep lord Vader waiting"

"On that we agree" Ciena let out a barely visible shiver of fear. She was afraid of vader, that's was good. Fear was a good way of keeping people in line. "If you'll follow me then"

(Y/n) nodded and she started walking. (Y/n) put his helmet back on before following after her. He noticed that as they walked Ciena would turn back every once in a while and glance at him. 'Either she's nervous or she's curious'

A few minutes later Ciena broke the silence. "Can I ask you a question sir?"

"Go ahead" (y/n) shrugged. "And no need for the sir stuff while we're away from other people" (y/n) figured this would help him get closer with the girl.

"Thanks" the girl smiled at him as they got into the lift. "Anyways my question was about your armor. I've never seen it before, what type of trooper are you?"

"Imperial navy commando" (y/n) replied quickly. "Not the most common trooper (unless you're playing the force unleashed for the Wii). We're like stormtroopers but better trained and used more for the defense of high priority assets"

Before Ciena could say anything in response the doors opened and there stood lord Vader.
