ㅤㅤIN THE year 1557, the Mikaelson's find their way into French Court posing as Lords from England. During this time, King Henry II is reigning over France. And his eldest son, Francis de Valois is set to be next in line for the throne once his father dies. So as more and more Englishmen come to court, no one suspects the Mikaelson's of anything. After all, a wedding is approaching and a union will commence.
ㅤㅤPrincess Constance Tudor was the daughter of Mary I of England and Phillip II of Spain. As the only child and heir to the English throne, her mother thought it best to secure an alliance and have her with child as soon as she could. Constance needed to continue the line of succession before their lineage died out.
