“I mean, If you don’t see a problem with this, then why change it?”
Mark argued, he stepped closer to me, his scent of pine trees and cinnamon mixing with the cold scent of the summer rain.“Because will, I’m sick of all the secrets, all the lying, all the sneaking around.
I’m tired of hiding who I am,”I sigh, an angered one, a stressed one.
“Who we are.”
Mark stoped, his face twisted with frustration, with confusion and red from lack of air.
He looked at me for a good minute, His normally curled blonde hair now flattened against his forehead from the harsh rain,
Thinking about it now,
I can bet mine doesn’t look much better.“I don’t exactly know what you think we are.” He spat with venom,
A tone I didn’t hear much from Mark, and quite honestly, it scared me.“But whatever it is, count me out.”
“Mark..”
I couldn’t think of what to say, my mind was lost in confusion and emotional pain, Mark was all I've had all summer, without him..I don't know.“No, Save it Dean, You didn’t want to hide anymore? Fine."
He sent a glance towards my eyes, Then returned his gaze back to it's previous spot on the floor,
I could tell he was trying to avoid eye contact, Avoid looking at me all together,
maybe because it's too painful,
Or maybe he couldn't stand the sight of me."You’re free.”
With that, Mark Alexander Foresthy left.
Leaving me alone, The cold rain falling onto my pale skin.
Worst part?
I didn’t even care.
