While waiting for the rest of the family to arrive Jennifer spent time with her now ten year old niece Stefanie and her friend Jonathan Scott. Jennifer orders two more hot cocoas with candy canes once their orders arrive Stefanie tells her Aunt about Jonathan and his family, and they've been friends since she was seven. Only because Stefanie saved me from having to go to a boring Christmas party at Abbys' Dads' job. Jonathan said with a smile.  Ohhhh and how did Stefanie do that? Jennifer asked. Jonathan grinned and said that Stefanie threw a snowball so hard it knocked Abby on her butt and fell hard on the ice. Jennifer's eyes twinkled as she laughed. Jonathan loved Jennifer's laugh it was like music to his ears. A small part of him hoped that Jennifer could sing because he wouldn't mind doing a duet with her. As Jonathan told Jennifer about himself Stefanie looked out the Diner window. In the middle of the Town Square a large Shimmering Crystal Gate opened. Oh Wow! Stefanie said in awe Jennifer smiled. It's the rest of the family. Jennifer and Stefanie with Jonathan behind them ran out of the Diner to the middle of the Square where the Gate Shimmered and in a Soft Glow the Gate opened. Colin and Cora came through first followed by their sisters Ali and Aurora then their Parents. As soon as Cora saw Stefanie she dropped to her knees to hug her daughter. Mom. Stefanie said softly with tears trickling down her cheek. As soon as the family has calmed down and hugged Stefanie. Nice job Jennifer. Their Dad said bringing Stefanie back to the family. Thanks Dad. Jennifer said. By the way this is Stefanie's friend Jonathan Scott. Jonathan walked toward Santa and shook his hand. Santa eyed Jonathan up and down then smiled, and said Jonathan Silver Scott Thank you for keeping our GrandDaughter company. After the family thanked Jonathan for taking care of Stefanie. Rosie looked Jonathan over deciding if he was a good match for their Daughter Jennifer. I'm sorry. Rosie said calmly to Jonathan, but by any chance do you have a girlfriend or engaged? Stefanie looked at her Grandma Rosie and says in a calm sweet voice Nope Jonathan is completely single. It's true ma'm. Jonathan said I just broke up with my Clingy ex Abby. Clingy is one word to describe her. Cora said. She's a self-centered spoiled brat. How do you know? Jennifer asked Cora. It's called doing your homework. I've been looking for a suitable match for you for years. And now you've got one. Cora said sweetly. Thank you and Mom for looking out for me Jennifer said but I'm an old fashioned girl who wants to meet a man's family first before I decide if I wanna give him my heart. That's fair. Their Dad said. Jonathan is an old fashioned man who would like to bring a lady home to meet his family before jumping into a marriage. Thank you sir. Jonathan said politely. While the family was focused on Cora and Rosie's matchmaking Stefanie noticed the Mayor was having trouble with the Christmas Tree in the Town Square. Excuse me. Stefanie said making her way to the Mayor, and asked him if he needed a hand. Unless you know a way to keep the Christmas Lights on the Mayor said sadly then the Christmas Tree is gonna have to come down. Stefanie under the watchful eyes of her Family made her way around the tree, and said the lights are all plugged in Stefanie said slowly so all you really need Mr. Mayor is a Little Christmas Magic. Stefanie gave a small flick of her hand, and a small amount of magic came out but not enough to fix the Lights. "Try this. Jennifer said hanging an Icy Blue Crystal necklace around Stefanie's neck. Again Stefanie gave a small flick of her hand and this time the lights glowed brightly. Good job sweetie. Cora said hugging her daughter." Across the Square Abby was mad that Jonathan dumped her, and all because of that brat Nicole or Stefanie. Whatever her name was. Abby thought. She picked up a bunch of snow and added a piece of an icicle, and as hard as she could threw the snowball. As the snowball flew through the air and was about to hit Stefanie in her face Jennifer's eyes turned a Deep Dark Blue and in one quick flick of her hand stopped the snowball ten seconds before it hit her niece and threw it back Hard at Abby knocking her out Cold. You might wanna think Twice before throwing a snowball with ice at a member of the Claus Family. Jennifer said in her Icy calm demeanor. Damn. Jonathan said Clearly impressed with Jennifer's skills.
