Chapter 1

Her Eyes

Once again, I was awaken by my nightmares. Halos 3 straight nights na itong dream na toh.

Its always about a boy. I think he's about my age. His face, I do not recognize. Medyo matangkad na payat. I can feel his warm smile at me but I could not see his face.

He is standing in front of a big tree, looking at me. Then, tears suddenly replaced the warmth of his smile. It's as if his telling me not to go near him, as if he's telling me to run away from where he is.

But in my dream, lumapit ako sakanya, pero after a few steps, I fell, into a ravine, into a bottomless blackhole.  

Madami akong nakikita habang pabagsak sa hole, pero, everytime I wake up and try to remember kung anu ung mga nakikita ko, wala akong naaalala, but I feel scared everytime I wake up. What could these dreams mean?

I always wake up sweating. Sometimes, my mom would rush to the bedroom to wake me up cause she hears me screaming.

This nightmare started after a few months mula nung nagising ako sa coma. You see, I had an accident, or atleast that's what they told me. I never remember much kasi from what happened . The doctor said my brain forgot all the traumatic memories, like an amnesia.

Ever since then, I felt like a part of me is missing. Aside from my left eye ofcourse, which was replaced by an artificial doll eye. Pero I always wear an eyepatch cause I am not liking what I see with my artificial eye.

I live alone with my mom since my dad left us. I had a sister, a twin.  

I'm never the typical highschool girl, people often say I'm weird and that I creep them out just by being around. I think it's in my favor since I never liked being with people so much.
