A phone rings through Killuas bedroom. He makes a noise of disapproval, reaching his hand out to his phone. Its 11pm, who dare wake him up?

Killua answered the call, seeing the ravenette through the screen. He is smiling like an idiot. "What is it?" Killua asked, his voice raspy from being woken up. Gon smiled softly at him. "Sorry, did I wake you?" He asked. Killua nodded while rubbing his eyes. "Well I just want to tell you something, its important." Killua sighed. "So important you woke me up from my nap?" He asked.
Gon laughed. "Who sleeps on new years eve? You dont stay up Killua?"
Killua squinted at the calendar on the other side of the room. "Oh, thats today." He said, Gon chuckling. "How do you forget new years eve?! Its like super important! Im surprised you're not out partying!" Gon exclaimed. Killua sat up. "I guess that'll have to happen some other time then. What do you need?" He asked yawning.
Gon smiled softly again. "Oh yeah, uhm..." He rubbed his neck sheepishly, even though they are talking through the phone on facetime. "Sorry to wake you," Gon started.
Killua nodded, urging him on.
Gon took a deep breathe, muttering under his breathe. "I wish I could do this in person," He looked at Killua on his screen. Killua quirked a brow.
Gon looked beside him, checking the time. He breathed deeply and said it.
"Killua, I love you. Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked.
Killua blinked.
"Im sorry, what?" Killua asked Gon, pure shock on his face.
"I love you. And I want you to be mine." Gon repeated. "What do you say?"
Killua blinked about 10 more times.
"I-I uh– y-yeah." He said, blushing like crazy. Gon smiled, and looked at the time.
"Happy New Years babe!" He said beaming through the phone. Killua looked over at his clock, eyes wide.
"Did you seriously just make new years our anniversary?" Killua turned back to his phone. "Yup! I waited a whole year to do this!" He said smiling brightly.
Killua flushed. "You what!? You waited a whole year to ask me out just so our anniversary would be on new years!?" Killua yelled at the screen.
Gon nodded sheepishly.
"Baka."
