Tatum dodged left and right.

People were always so serious about mall shopping. She was glad her lunch break had started now.

Tatum, of course, was headed towards Scoops Ahoy for her lunch break. It wasn't a long walk, so she wouldn't take up her whole lunch break just to walk to and fro.

She walked in, and just like always, there Steve was, scooping ice cream, although he had cut back on the flirting recently, which had surprised Tatum, but she didn't dwell on it.

"See you later squirt." Steve smiled at the little boy in front of Tatum, and once they left, she walked right up to the counter with a smile on her face.

"Hi Steve."

He smiled back, "Hi. Oh, what can I get for the lady? A little taste of the Cherries Jubilee? No? Banana Boat? Share it in the booth? It's hot out there." He tried to persuade her, she scoffed.

"Oh yeah because I'd just love to share a banana boat with you." Steve smirked, not noticing the sarcasm.

"Well of course you would. I'm Steve Harrington."

Tatum laughed, "I was being sarcastic." Steve paused, glancing down.

"Right. No yeah. I knew that."

Tatum smirked, "Sure you did. Anyways can I actually get a banana boat? Not to share, it just sounds so good right now."

It was Steve's turn to smirk now, "Are you sure you don't want to share? I'm great company."

Tatum scoffed, "Dude. You literally told me you didn't want my brother to make any friends."

"Hey! You can't keep bringing that up. I said sorry, and I mean it."

Tatum smiled, "No can do mister, I like to hold grudges, and once I hold a grudge it never goes away. Just ask my brother about my turtle."
