3rd POV
Azrael flew through the crowds of angels, stopping when he found Goddess Seraphina, "You needed me, Goddess?" Azrael fell into a bow. "Yes, my child, It's your time to become a Guardian Angel." Goddess Seraphina's voice was a whisper of wind, her words flowing smoothly out of her mouth. Azrael nodded, "Who is the one I will protect?" Azrael asked. "Colton Harrison, 25."
Azrael followed the strange, brunette man. To Azrael, Colton looked ridiculous in the black suit, dress pants, and military boots! How could one person look so dark!? He still hadn't noticed the angel, even though his wings were quite big. Azrael kept following, and finally, after minutes of following, Colton noticed the Angel. "So your my guardian..." the older man mumbled, his voice husky and not unpleasant, but tingly to Azrael. He wondered if that was only because he hadn't heard such a deep voice before, or if Colton's voice was really just tingly for Azrael with no reason.
"Are you deaf?" Colton spat, irritated. "Jeez who woke you up on the wrong side of the bed?" Azrael snapped at Colton, who responded with a rumbly: "Just tell me your name." Azrael didn't want to, but how could he do that when he's supposed to be all nice and gentle? "Azrael. You can call me Azzie or Rael for short." Colton murmured something Azrael couldn't understand and then commented "That's nice, my mother was named Azrael." The angel kept following silently, getting curious after a few minutes. He asked, "Where are we going?" "Somewhere special," Colton replied. Azrael started to inspect tall male, getting a better look at him. Colton has long brunette hair tied into a braid, forest green eyes paired with dark olive skin. Colton seems to be atleast 5'11 or 6ft, while Azrael was a rather puny 4'10 or 5ft. "We're almost there" The deep voice broke the younger man's train of thought. "Oh- Okay!" Azrael squeaked, his voice almost as soothing as Goddess Seraphina's voice.
Once they got there, Azrael was amazed! He had never seen anything like it in his life! Not even in heaven had he seen something so beautiful.
