5- Girl next door

"Something about the girl next door something that I can't ignore".

"What the hell are you doing ?" I said standing in front of him, crossing my arms.

"I'm going home " he answered nonchalantly

"What? No! You're not going anywhere" I shouted grabbing his wrist

"Why not?" He said glaring at our hands

"I need answers ? Remember?" I slowly let got of his wrist and took a sit

He nodded reaching for something in his pocket :

A piece of paper .

I furrowed my eyebrows at the sight of it.
"What is this? Is it your number?"

He just laughed amused by my reaction
"No but if you want it so bad i can give it to you later"
he winked while a grin was forming on his rosy lips .

Instantly the amused expression on his face turned into a serious one.
" I saw this note under your doorstep, I'm really worried for you ,Lana"

1 Hour before

Luke' s pov.

I was playing video games with my X box when my phone started to ring
"Luke, honey can you come at the restaurant ?"
I groaned, it was my mother.
"But mom its late, can I come tomorrow?"
I said with a pleading tone hoping she'd leave me alone.
"It's really important darling, please?" I hummed
"Fine, bye mom!" i said rolling my eyes ending the phone call.

I got up from the couch, dressed warmly and picked my car's keys.

when I opened my apartment's door
I noticed a boy wearing a black hoodie standing in front of the door.

It must be Lana's boyfriend I thought to myself.

I've seen the girl living in the apartment in front of mine last month but she has never took a boy in here.
I know her name his Lana, she's a year younger than me and that she lives alone.
She's really pretty.
I've always wanted to Introduce myself and talk to her, but whenever I tried something happened.

Last time I was ready to knock at her door when suddenly the dog of a lady started to run in my direction,barking.
Just so you know the dog was a pit bull.

He followed me around the building for almost half an hour.

And the lady in her mid-sixties laughed at me the whole time and told me
"Young boys nowadays scared of a little puppy"

Little puppy my ass.

Anyway
I doubt Lana has ever noticed me anyway,she's always lost in her thoughts and has earphones on most of the time.

Returning to the boy.
I stared at him unsure of his actions.
He seemed nervous,like he was hiding something.
I was expecting him to knock at her door.
He didn't.

Then it hit me.
He's dressed all in black, the hoodie is covering his face like he doesn't want to be seen.

Suddenly he turned around and a piece of paper flew from his jacket.

What if he's a serial killer or something?
I was sweating.
My feet begun to move back,
but right when I was about to shut the door closed.
In one move he was already facinv me, he picked me up by the collar of my polo and a pinned me against the wall.

"Don't you dare tell anyone what you've seen" he said with an angry tone.
I tried to push him away but he was too strong
"Or what? You fucking maniac, leave the girl alone or I'll call the cops"

right when I said that he started to punch me and after a few minutes a was left senseless on the ground.

End of flashback
"And you know the rest Lana....
the first thing I did when I woke up was knocking on your door." He said looking straight into my eyes .
"I needed to advise you."

My heart begun to pound against my chest at an irregular rhythm.
My eyes were wide open, my mouth was dry and no words would come out.

Somebody is following me .
Shit.
