Chapter 1 something out of place

Holding tightly to your friend that drove quickly on her motorcycle, feeling the wind that ran across your helmet as you looked at all the lights around town. It was a cold night for hitching a ride home for your friend like this. Of course, you we're actually scared of taking a quick ride on it, the last time your friend Stella picked you up is whenever it was a dark and Stormy night.

The rain was pouring and was getting soaked, the road with slippery and it felt gloomy. Just being in those rides are always fun till she almost hit a cat. Not gonna lie, she was a cat person and would feel guilty for it. " Hey do you remember that wierd mall that use to be over there?" Looking where she pointed and looked back in confusion. " Mall?" She chuckled loudly and snapped her fingers. "You've never seen Pizza Plex? Well damn I forgotten about the fact that you are new around here!."

You chuckled from her shocked reaction and of course her speed slowed down. "Well y/n you missed alot that place was fun like not joking, so many game's and song's I've remembered as a kid being there. Sucks that it got burned down like so far they've strangely found a few animatronics, but kinda still trying to look for the last two." You looked up. " Last two, what about the rest though?." " Three we're found underground strangely, the alligator dude was missing the lower half of his body. Trash eating bird lady had her beak was torn out strangely and the wolf or dog I can't remember was missing her eyes. They're still missing two, one was a bear and......I can't remember the other god it's been so long." Parking as she took her helmet off and looked down at the black building, so much was lost from it. " Can't remember but damn, I remember that thing scares me as a kid, I see it again I'm kicking it's head off into the pits of hell." She scoffed as you laughed " what made you so scared of it though?" You looked at her.

" I can't remember but it was some type of place where kids go whenever their parent's drop them off. I remembered staying up as a joke to scare this kid in there sleep by pouring glitter glue on their face. God damn never will I do that." What makes her so scared of a silly robot, to you I think it's just some animatronic that wanted to play but scared her mistakenly.  " Can't really remember him but some kind of yellow, clown, jester thing. Oh well Maybe later it's been nice talking to you it's getting close to eight and I don't want you to get in some deep trouble with your dad." You looked down at your watch and sighed. " It's alright, he just doesn't like it when I stay out a little too late." She smiled getting back on her black bike placing her helmet on. " Catch ya later, I'll be with Alex tommorow if you need me" you waved at her as she drives off. " See ya Stella!"

Watching her fade into the distance as you took a step back and walk down the cold street, getting near February since January doesn't seem to be that long to live through. Not much to enjoy Valentine's day since you are bit of a loner. Most of the holiday is just people smooching all over Infront of you and put you down, cards and candies are nice. But it's just not much to you because how lonely you get. Looking down at the ground as you thought about tommorow, another boring day of school you had today and was thankful for it being Saturday tommorow.

You felt strange as you walked passed the dark alley that was next to you. Walking back as you looked at it, you shouldn't be doing that you are smarter than this. But you just thought something was wanting you to see them or something. Turning on your phone as you turned on the flashlight, you walked through the long darkness that was killed by light. Looking around as you walked passed a few dumpsters and roaches that scattered, looking to your left as you saw a yellow sun like robot as you jumped and screamed, leaning against the brick wall as you calmed yourself.

It's joyfully grin was unsettling to you. Half of it's face was burned and became nothing but boiled plastic, only showing it's crescent shape. Half of it's rays are missing and it's arm was missing some metal to cover up his endoskeleton. It's pants and shoes decorated in a horrible black as it's sent was creating a strong burnt plastic smell. Looking down at it was just saddening to you, placing your hand on it gently as it's head slowly tilted to it's right.

You wanted to save this thing, you thought about one day if there was a chance you could keep a abandon or thrown out animatronic and save it. Taking care of it and repairing till it's fully new. But of course, this one looks as it he couldn't be fixed at all. Most of him was unfixable and needed so much replacement, you don't even have enough money or knowing anything about where it came from.

You carefully lifted it up as you watched it's head tilted back and carried it in your arms. It wasn't heavy to you, it was like holding a chair. You carefully walked out of the ally making sure you didn't leave anything behind.

You yawned as you walked inside, sneaking into your room but was stopped by your little sister jenny. " Ewww, what is that thing?" You shushed her and giggled at the same time. " Something just to take care of, that's all." Walking upstairs into your room, closing the door behind as you carefully placed the animatronic on the ground. Sitting down as you looked behind it and tried to find a switch, only to see nothing but tangled and burned out wires that may not work anymore.

Clicking random things as you tried to get the thing to work. But now, taking it here felt like a waste of time like it was all for nothing. " Hello?" You tapped the animatronic as you sighed, it's not going to work. It just sits there and just dies out forever. Starting to get fustrated a bit with it as you grabbed tightly to a nearby pillow and swung at it will it hits back on the wall. Looking down at it as you watched a loose ray fell from it's head. You placed the pillow back down and calmed yourself, picking it up closer to you and took a deep breath.

" Maybe it just needs cleaning a bit." You went to get a wash cloth and warm water and carefully walked back into your room up. You tip toed carefully going near it as you placed the bowl of water down and damped it, carefully placing it towards it's face as you lightly scrubbed. " OUCH!" Looking up in shock as you heard it talk, only to get pushed away and look back at the animatronic that was starting to move, crying in pain from it's glitchy and muffled voice. Curling up against the wall and rubbing it's face. " Ouch, ouch, ouch, why dose this have to happen!?." It was sobbing and covering it's face with it's broken fingers.

A robot that feels pain, that wasn't supposed to happen right?. You thought as you tried to go near the hurt robot, looking down at it's arms as it leaned against the floor and arching itself. Was it because of the hot water, normally hot water was supposed to help get rid of the built up dirt good. But for him it seemed like it made it worser. Looking up at you as it tried to keep itself focus on you. " N-new friend?" You looked down at it and smiled, trying to help it up as it became shaky on you.
