-prologue-

My name is Katherine Shark.I am 18 years old.I live in a strange little town called Magma Vail.People here fear me.Im not evil,or a killer.Im something else.A creature.One that isn't normally seen anymore.I am nothing to be feared.My best friend,Alex Wolf,is though.He is a where wolf.

We surprisingly get along very well despite out differences.Everyone in town is fearful of him.They says he's an evil monstrosity.I hate them for that.He never did anything bad to them.We have always been very close,ever sense I moved to MagmaVail.

My life isn't noraml.In fact the opposite really.Will I ever be viewed with respect?Does anything really matter anyways?I wish I knew the answers,I don't though.The sooner i can win this battle,the better.
