Toby was sitting in a chair drinking a Coke watching the news on tv, when the news cut out and a national emergency started to broadcast.
Toby thought Shit
The emergency alert mentioned about how an asteroid had hit earth just off the coast of Peru and that a tsunami was going to hit Australia within the next 6 hours.
Toby lived in the Blue mountains of Sydney, so he was safe. Toby reclined back into his chair.
'UPDATE. UAPDATE. UPDATE.
UNIDENTIFIED CREATURES ARE EMERGING FROM THE IMPACT SITE. PERU AND ECUADOR HAVE COLLAPSED'
Toby shit himself. What the fuck was happening?
The tv went static.
Toby didn't remember what happened next. It was a blur.
He heard aircraft flying overhead, explosions in the distance, sirens going off at full blast, a low humming sound coming from the city, screaming, a bloody loud explosion.
Then quiet.
Toby looked outside towards Sydney.
Sydney looked like a nuke had dropped and there was a spacecraft in the distance.
Then a green glow appeared behind him.
'This is our new earth, Jimm... WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!'
