The next morning June wakes up with a happy feeling running through her body but it's quickly replaced by a queasiness that makes her shoot to the toilet and throw up.

"Are you sick, baby?" Matt asks through the door.

"I think so but I feel fine apart from the nausea." She replies and washes her mouth and brushes her teeth to get the smell away.

"I found these in the kitchen." Matt gives her a packet of biscuits. "My mom told me she ate biscuits for the nausea when she was pregnant with me and she does too when she's got the flu and gets nauseous."

"Thanks babe." She kisses him thankfully and then take a bite of a biscuit. "Wait. Did you just say pregnant?"

"Do you think you're pregnant?" He jokes.

She shrugs. "Well, the implant isn't 100% safe and I think I might be late this month actually."

"Call the doctor for a check-up maybe?" He suggests.
"Don't look so happy and hopeful, Matt. If I'm not pregnant it'll leave you devastated."
"I know but I have an excellent idea. Let's have sex a million times today to make sure you're pregnant."

She laughs hard. "With this implant there's no such thing as making sure I'm pregnant apart from taking a test."

"Let's do it anyway." He says with a gleeful tone

"Yeah, let's do that if I can keep the queasiness away." She laughs and he immediately pushes her to the bed. "I'll call the doctor on Monday."

"Good." Matt says and after a minute he adds "Jesus. I complete forgot. I brought you a peach glazed cheesecake yesterday. It's in your fridge now."

"You're just that good babe." She says in awe. "You didn't even need the cake for us to make up."

He laughs and kisses her softly. "I hope you can eat it later, baby."

June's sitting in her doctor's waiting room one week after the chat with Matt. She's scared so she texts July. "July, something's happening. I'm at the doctor's right now but I'm kind of scared."

The reply is instant "What's happening? You're scaring me, babe. Do you need me to come over?"

June's answer is short "I'll tell you everything after the visit."

When July walks through June's door she's greeted in an unusual way. June's standing with the back to the front door with a cup of chamomile tea and staring out through her kitchen window. "The doctor took a blood test but he's also suspecting I'm pregnant."

"Oh my god. That's wonderful." July squels. "Wait, did you say also?"

"It really is. And yes, I said also. Matt and I suspect it too." June says but when she turns around her eyes are red and puffy like she's been crying for hours. "But will Matt ever forgive me if I'm not?"

"Yes babe." July squels. "I call dibs on the godmother title when the time comes."

"Matt's so hopeful. He really wants a kid. With me. It makes me so damn happy and I'm so afraid I'll let him down." June smiles happily and sadly at the same time.

"Babe, if you're not pregnant just ask the doctor to remove your implant and get to work." July winks happily. "Matt loves you and you love him. You two will figure it out. I know that and so do you in your heart."

"He already removed the implant. He said it would be best to take it out in case I really am pregnant already. And I told him that was perfect. He promised to rush the blood work so I'd get the answer as soon as possible. Possibly this evening."

"This is so exciting, babe." July jumps up and down and claps her hands.

"Did you hear anything yet?" Matt's nervous voice sounds from the open front door.

"No, babe." June shakes her head and he quickly crosses the room to kiss her passionately.

"Seriously, you two." July waves a hand in front of her face to cool it down. "Your chemistry turns this room into a sauna. Don't start the baby making now. Wait for the reply, or at least for me to leave."

"But what if I wanted you to watch?" June winks jokingly at her.

"Sorry baby. I could never watch. I'd die from jealousy of your chemistry." July responds in a serious tone.

"I don't know anyone who ships us more than this one." Matt says and hugs July and then he turns to June. "Oh, by the way, babe. That brunette at the restaurant a few weeks back, the friend who I gave dinner. Do you remember her?"

June nods. "What about her?"

"I gave her dinner because she made you this." He pushes a jewelry box into June's hands and warns "It's not a ring."

June opens the box and gasp. Inside is a beautiful rose gold necklace with a diamond studded pendant in the shape of a heart. "Look at the backside." Matt says and blushes a bit.

There's an engraving that says "Whatever her soul is made of, hers and mine are the same."

"I know it's your favorite quote." He shrugs as if it's nothing but June throws her arms around his neck and cries happy tears. "I love you. Always." She stutters through the tears.

"Oh my god. This is so sweet it made me cry too." July says and June replies "I'm really happy you were here to see this. Thank you for making me find my way home, babe." Then she squeezes July's hand.

At that exact moment June's phone rings on the counter. She rushes to pick it up. "It's the doctor."

She accepts the call and after a minute she asks "And you're sure?" She nods as the person in the other end responds and says okay a few times before hanging up.

She turns around to face June and Matt with an expression that reveals nothing.

"Baby." She whispers and look Matt in the eyes." He swallows a lump and whispers back "Yeah?"

Then she happily screams "We're having a child."

Matt and June cry and June jumps around in glee, singing "I'm going to be a godmother" which make Matt and June laugh at the same time as they cry.

"This is going to be amazing. But it means we have to move in together, baby."

"Of course." She smiles. "Close to your parents of course."
"OH MY GOD, your parents are going to be SOOOOO happy." July almost yells at Matt. "Can I tell them?"
"NO!" June replies horrified and Matt laughs.

"I'm just kidding, babe." July laughs and Matt joins her, but June still looks horrified.

"That wasn't even close to funny, July." She mutters and pouts.

"Can I at least tell April then?" July asks hopefully.
June looks at her in wonder. "WHAT did the two you make a bet about this time?"

"What gender you first child is. I'd love to tell her we're 9 months away from figuring out who's gonna win 1000 bucks. It's gonna be me of course." July sounds very sure of herself.

June pales. "You bet 1000 bucks on my first child's gender?!? Are you crazy?"

"Babe, they're your girls. Of course they are crazy." Matt says and they all laugh. "But joke aside did you seriously bet 1000 bucks, July?"

"I did. And I don't care if I lose them as long as the baby's alive and healthy." July already sounds like a very proud aunt, and she almost cries when she adds "I'm gonna be Aunt July."

Matt nods firmly. "You are and you're gonna be the best."

"Stop. Looks what you did." June says with tears streaming down her cheeks. "There's so much love in this room."

July and Matt both laugh and hug June from each side.
