It's Christmas morning and June's looking out on the garden. Her pregnancy is near the end so nearly everything is difficult for her.
Matt enters the kitchen and stands behind her. He kisses her on top of her hair. "I have a surprise for you, baby."
"For me or the baby?" She ask jokingly.
Matt chuckles. "You know I mean you. I can't surprise our baby before he's born."
She laughs loudly. "You don't know if our baby's a he, Matt."
He promptly replies. "Oh but I do. I can feel it. You know it too."
She turns around to face him. "I'm excited to find out. And scared as hell. So what's the surprise?"
He hands her an envelope, and she quickly opens it. Her big smile almost cracks her face in two. "This is exacrly what I think it is, right?" She squeals.
He nods firmly. "Yes baby! We got the house!"
She tries to jump up and down in pure happiness, but the big baby bump makes it impossible.
"When are we-?" She begins to ask but then she pales and looks down.
He looks at her in confusion and then he realises what's just happened. Her water broke.
