The Director

Chapter 1

"I can't believe I got the job!" I squealed excitedly. Things have been quite rough lately, money has been a delicacy for my family. We've had enough for rent and bills, Rukia and her brother have been paying for our food."I'm so happy for you!!" Rukia hugged me. I was standing outside of the Jaggerjack headquarters in Tokyo. I had just finished my interview, I start tomorrow as part of the creation team. Basically I'll be coming up with new products to help the industry thrive and reach new heights. "Come on we gotta go tell everyone! And we need to get you some new clothes." I laughed and followed Rukia to where Byakuya and Renji were waiting in the car. Renji rolled the window down "So?" I smirked and gave him a thumbs up "Nailed it!" He jumped out the window and punched my shoulder "Fuck yeah!" We all piled into the car and headed back home.

I bursted through the door and yelled "I got the job!" Both my sisters came running and leaped into my arms. "I knew you could do it!" Yuzu cried and Karin smiled as her eyes began to tear up. I rubbed both the tops of their heads and headed to my dads room where he laid silent connected to an oxygen tank. About a year ago he had gotten into a bad accident and went into a coma. I placed my hand on his almost lifeless one, "I got the job dad.... I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I miss you kicking me in the face all the time. Hopefully things will be better now, I'll bring in some money and we'll be able to pay for our own stuff." A tear rolled down my face. "Love you dad, wake up soon." I left the room and Yuzu had dinner made. We all sat around the table, the girls sat next to me while Renji, Rukia and Byakuya sat across from us. We prayed and dug into our delicious meal.

It's been two weeks since I began my job and I absolutely love it. Some are nice and caring while others are funny or mean but with everyone it balances out. The managers are pretty laid back unless a deadline is near but I love it. "Oi Ichigo, did you piss the director off?" I met eyes with Starrk my manager and shrugged "I hope not! I don't recall doing anything to cause trouble!" He nodded "I'm just curious cause he wants you to go up to his office." I slowly stood up and placed my hand on his shoulder "Wish me luck." He patted my back as I made my way to the elevator and head to the top floor.

The elevator opened to reveal the directors office door as well as his secretary's desk to the right. I walked up to Nel, she smiled "You can just go right on in. Grimmjow is waiting for you!" She handed my a Hershey bar "Keep it." I smiled "Thank you." I opened the door and about shit myself. His office was HUGE. Straight ahead was a rug threat went from his door to the desk. To the right was a literal living room with a sofa and flat screen TV. To the left was a giant fish tank with lots of beautiful fish as well as a small shark. "Woah." I muttered. "Are you serious!?" I heard a deep voice echo in the large room. A door opened revealing a tall very handsome man. He wore a black suit with a white undershirt and blue tie. The top three buttons were undone and his light blue hair was slightly messy. He slowly ran a hand through the blue locks and glances in my direction. My heart skipped a beat as our eyes locked, he had laser blue cat like eyes. I gulped as he looked me up and down "So your the new guy, Ichigo right?" Holy shit. His voice sent shivers down my spine. It was deep and soothing. "Y-yes." I stuttered. He chuckled slowly approached me until our chests almost touched. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, I took a couple steps back and found myself against the wall. "Your cute." I felt my face heat right up.

He took a couple steps forward and place both hands on the wall to box me in. "Um..." I looked to the side until I felt a warm hand on my neck, "When you blush your ears and neck turn red too." He smirked, turned and headed to his desk. "I've been keeping an eye on your work, I'm fairly impressed. How would you like me to move you up to something else? It would pay more money." I was still against the wall trying to process what had just happened. "I um.. What do you h-have in m-mind?" His smirk grew bigger. "We'll I was thinking either the creation teams new manager, or perhaps a desk job. But I have been thinking about having a helper up here. Both me and Nel my secretary are getting piled up on work. The both of us can only do so much." I nodded. I don't think I could be the manager and I sure as hell couldn't work at a desk all day. Shit, and see the directors hot body everyday would be awesome. But...... fuck it, "Um I'll be your helper.." he smirked evilly and I began to slightly regret that decision. "Wonderful! I'll have Nel get you all transferred over here. But what your basically going to be doing is being another secretary for both me and Nel to help us keep track. But you'll also be doing weekly cleaning of my office and feeding my fish." I nodded "Yessir." He smiled, "See you tomorrow, Ichigo." For some reason when he said my name my legs went weak. God damn this is gonna be a shit show.

When I got home I treated my sister with the good news as well as the smell of chicken fried rice and egg rolls for dinner. "Wow! So you'll be working the THE Grimmjow Jaggerjack!?" Yuzu squealed. "Yeah I am." I took a bite of an egg roll as she squealed some more. "Oh my god! He's so hot! I'm so jealous Ichi!!" I choked on the food in my mouth. "He's pretty cool, he was nice to me... he called me cute too." My cheeks held a slight pink tint to them. Yuzu gasped and Karin rolled her eyes "Here we go." She mumbled as Yuzu stood up from the table and said "I wanna meet him! He's loaded too! I want him to my brother in law!!" I sprayed milk all over at the last part. "I'm NOT gonna date my boss." She smirked and finished eating "Whatever you say Ichi!" I face palmed and finished my meal then did up the dishes. Who knows how tomorrow is gonna go.
