Magic of the Full Moon

Night has fallen

Wind rustles the trees

A wolf howls as the full moon

As suburbia sleeps in peace,

Unaware of the magic midnight brings.

Hark!

A young child stirs

And golden rays spill over

The horizon

Signaling the dawn of a new day.

Another night ends

The full moon smiles regally

As she withdraws her

Majestic silver magic.

It is time for her to rest

Tomorrow night she shall

Chase her brother sun across

The heavens

Casting her spell

Once more.
