The soft furries sang ballads along the swish of frigid winds before it swirled to join the sheen layer of pure pristine on the landscape- An official begun to the long awaited Winter.

Neither the fallen night nor the dropped temperature could affect Swara, for she had a hand that leaked summer into hers with such delicacy more sufficient to seep them deeper in the cold layers of her skin.

A flake of fragile snow caressed through her cheeks to leave marks of cold and Sanskaar stroked it away in a gentle swift of his thumb, to plant his warmth in her. Swara's hazels fluttered shut at the reverence of that brief touch.

"You should go." Sanskaar made a soft reminder, a finger traced outline of those flimsy locks to keep them away from concealing her eyes behind them. They had been standing out of her residence for the past ten minutes and Swara had no will to go in.

"Give me a minute." A battlefield awaited for her presence, a blood thirst blade ready to leash and taste her blood for which she had not been ready. Not after receiving her biggest birthday gift and end the day on a bitter note. Swara slipped her hands around him for his warmth for a silent comfort.

He gave her the needed time, drew her closer and rested his chin on her head to take away all the coldness that clouded her sense. Sanskaar knew what Swara feared was not on how to raise words but for the day that would leave her bruised.

"I'll call you," Sanskaar gently parted a little, "After some time." he promised and Swara hummed in the response. It confused her when he doesn't let her go and looked at him until she understood all by herself.

Though her lips ached, she did reciprocate his smile with a genuine smile that glittered in her hazels. Only then Sanskaar had left her from his hold and let her part ways. He watched her take slow steps to the gate.

It nudged Sanskaar, for the fact of how he asked Swara to go easy on herself and here he was,  dropping here off to the ordeal he kept her away. When Swara turned, all he could do was to pass a slight nod and blink for the assurance she asked.

The gates fastened and Swara went far away, very far away from his sight as she strode into her residence. Sanskaar knew that a torent waited for her and all he hope for the winds to strike lighter enough to keep her on hold. With that short prayer, he left.

When she entered her residence, a cold atmosphere prevailed in dead silence and she knew where the storm laid- in the study. Reema had never been this worried for the equation and the cracks between the daughter and father. Tonight, it was a complete different tale.

The fierce look both the father and daughter promised in individuals would now face off and she was tensed for the impact that would bring along. Reema didn't want to witness another fragile tie of relationship tained up too bitter, just like Aditya and the Senior Gagodia.

Swara had nothing to offer except for a smile to convince the fright that wavered in Reema's eyes. To be honest, She herself had no idea for the consequence she was about to make with her statements. But she would not stifle her words, forget her goals and keep up whatever she was given.

For all Swara heard was the creek of the door- no conversations discussed, no footsteps heard when she took efforts to slip in without any disturbance. Sirens alarmed in bright reds in her mind for the absolute silence prevailed though everyone were present except for Aditya.

She stepped in, making up all the oceans of courage to strike the conversation first in clear sense. Breathe in, Breathe out - she chanted with every step she took forward, near to her father who had still not looked up to acknowledge her presence.
