The Start of The War

Jaemin POV

"you done?" I shouted making sure that Eunji would hear it from her room

"just a minute"

"fasten up, it's the last day of examination"

"is the food ready?" she asked while heading to the kitchen

"there, on the plate"

Today, we messed up.

After we review last night, we played some games until we forgot about the time. As I remember, we got bed around 3 AM.

School starts at 8:00 and the problem is, ma and eunji only slept for 5 hours and woke up late.

And that explains why we are in a hurry at the moment.

After eating breakfast, we brushed our teeth before leaving the house.

"your bag, catch!" She stated as I catch it on time.

I jog heading to the elevator as she closed the door "hurry up", I said

When we reach outside, we compose ourselves, dusting our bags and straiten our own uniforms one last time.

"how many minutes do we have left?"

"about 20 I think" Eunji replied

"that would be enough time for us to reach school"

"you don't forgot anything, right?"

"yeah come on"

The both of us walked a little fast than usual heading to the school. You barely see students going to the same way because they probably reviewing at school right now.

"I don't think if we still got time to review later" I said

"That's right"
"well, it's fine, we already review last night so" Eunji replied

"but still we need to refresh our minds"

"do you forgot about the lesson already?"

"no~!" I replied making her chuckles

"Don't worry the examination today is easy"

"there's one problem though"

"what is it?" she asked

"Math" Eunji looked at me before she nodded

"you just stated a fact"

"right, since when does math become easy?!" I replied pulling off a tired face

We laugh in unison because of my expression before going back on walking.

It didn't take that long before we reached the gates of the campus. There are still a lot of students entering so we assume that we're not 'that' late.

"time?"

"7:51"

"at least we're not late" I said as I started my tracks going to our building

"can you wait for me? I'll just get the book for my locker"

"sure"

We head to the locker area welcome by the stares from some students. She's just opened her locker as I was at the stairs waiting for her.

Eunji grabbed a book as a piece of paper fell from it.

At first, I thought it's just a normal paper from her notes but seeing her expression changed I knew something was wrong.
