Here I was, in a world of darkness, pure emptiness, the void, or whatever you want to call it, alone and very dead. Yet for some reason unbeknownst to me it was calming. Maybe it's because I knew I was dead? Maybe because I accepted the fact my life was ended by a Neanderthal trying to pass a class? However I felt no rage, nor sadness despite leaving the one I cared about behind.

"I guess this is what death is really like? I would've expected a skeleton in a black cloak, or something."

I say to myself, normally I'd look crazy doing that. Jenny was the only one who saw me for me, now I'll never see her again. Hopefully she passed and proved how a true doctor should be especially during surgery. Such a shame I'll never be there to congratulate her or ask her on a date.

"Will you stop mumbling to yourself? It's very annoying to hear your sob story."

A voice, no, multiple voices said from behind me. I turned to see what looked like a courtroom. I always knew one's soul is judged upon death, guess this is how it's decided.

"Step forward to the podium unfortunate soul."

One of the voices said. I simply walk forward and see the judge, or should I say judges? There were multiple figures in various colored cloaks. The first was one in red, most likely the head of hell. Second was in black, probably death itself. The third was in a pink cloak, not sure about that one. Fourth was in white, with a faint but big halo around its shoulders, heaven possibly? Fifth was grey, purgatory definitely. Sixth was green, probably life. The last chair was the biggest and stood behind all, this one looked like the depths of space itself.

"Are you done gawking like a buffoon?"

Black asked, receiving a glare from white.

"Give this soul a break, it is new to this, after all its not exactly normal for a single soul to just come here to meet us."

White said before the big cloaked figure banged a gavel. It shook the room as everyone went silent.

"Very well I suppose it's best to introduce our selves, be warned that after we shall proceed with judgment procedures."

The big cloak said as I gulped. Slowly each member stood and introduced themselves, let's just say I was off, way way off.

"Ugh fine, I am judge of sin"

The red said in a frustrated tone, obviously due to doing this for so long.

"I am the judge of misguidance"

Black stated with a bow, for someone who is misguidance they're nice.

"Hello, I'm death~! I'm the judge of, well ironically, fulfillment~!"

Pink, er I mean death stated in a childish manner.

"I am the judge of faith, it is a pleasure."

The white cloak said with a bow as well, however it was short as a strand of hair slipped out of their hood.

"I'm called the judge of balance"

Grey said with a deep yet wise tone.

"I am known as the judge of enlightenment."

The green one said, this one sounds tired, in fact they started snoring until they face planted into their portion of the lower judge stand. The other judges sigh, facepalm or giggled. Finally it was the big cloaks turn.
