Bunny and me

The heavy door creeks open slowly, I curiously watch the doorway and see the best human being ever walk in the girls bathroom. She had a cold face on but when she saw me she easily wore a bright smile.
I slumped down in the corner of this window-less wreck of a bathroom next to the most beautiful person I know. I look up at her curling my self into a ball a leaned against her gently, putting little-to-none weight on her.
I felt my face heat up when she smiled back at me, I swear there was something in the water fountain that I drank made Bunny's skin glow and made her smile seem like the clear sky's.
"Heya Em~ whacha looking at?~" Bunny said nudging my shoulder lightly to tease me, probably her favorite thing to do! But I don't mind, really! it makes me feel loved in a way. Bunny turned her head down to her backpack, it was leaning against her like I was. She unzipped it and pulled out a marble drink, some random labeled chocolate bar, and a few strawberries each cut into fours. I watched mesmerized as Bunny pushed her hand against the marble top, the marble popped into the glass slot fowling like someone dropped a rock in the ocean; sinking slowly, weightless. Kinda like how I felt when Bunny talked to me. The fizz ever so closely to flowing over. Bunny looked up at me again putting the drink a little closer to me as a way to ask if I wanted any, I shook my head lightly. I wasn't really in the mood for a carbonation drink right now. Bunny nodded understandingly, She grabbed her phone from her hoodie pocket with earbuds already attached to them. I watched as she pulled the earbuds to their full length to untangle them, handing my the left one.
"What song?" Bunny asked opening Musi on her phone; scrolling through her playlist.
"Uhh.. do you still have that duster and pathetic playlist?" I ask hoping for a yes.
"Oh! Yeah I do! I remember that was you're favorite" Bunny beamed with a smile that made my stomach do flips.
The soft beat of a random Duster song started to play, the smooth sound rang through my ears satisfyingly.

"OoOo Greg posted" Bunny said trying to get out of her search history.
"Oo yah Greg!" I say happily wanting to watch him because it felt like forever ago that I watched him.
"Hello! Welcome back Greg!" Danny's voice rang high through the earbud speaker. As the video was nearing the end the bell rang signaling for us to go to class. I helped Bunny put her stuff back in her backpack and I held out my hand for her to grab. Joined at the arm we pushed through the crowd of annoying 12 year olds and other demon things🫠. We both walked into my reading class still holding hands but disconnected when I put my stuff down, the class loud; full of class clowns. Bunny gave me a peck and headed off.
"I'll see you in sixth hour Em!" She stated walking out the door sneaking a glance before leaving, I smiled at that. I sat down taking in the only good smelling room in the school, the warm colored fairy lights mixed with the dim school ceiling lights made it even more comfortable. Now relaxed in the front row I put my head down and pulled my phone out to scroll through pictures on Pinterest saving a few cool things I found. About 5 minutes later the teacher walked it the class gently shutting the door behind her.
"Hi, guys", Mrs. Wise said with a soft smile and gentle voice. A fair amount of students greeted her back with "hello's" and "hi's".
"Alright so we'll start with 10:00 minutes of reading-"
After class

I walked out of the classroom to find Bunny leaning on the white-ish brick wall one foot on the wall and the other tilled back a little because she was leaning so much but couldn't blame her, backpacks were sometimes annoying. She was on her phone with her earbuds in waiting for me.
I smiled and walked up to her.
"Hey Bunny!", I said moving my hand to wave to at her. She smiled and said hi back, then we started our walk to sixth hour social Studies. Once again joined at the arm pushing and shoving people who shoved us and also just for fun lol. We finally made it to room 39 Mr. Ropers class. Bunny and I let go and walk to the back of the room to our seats. Both of us slipping our backpacks off setting them on the ground beside the desk. I grab my planer out and lean back chair hitting the with brick wall creating a wayyy more comfortable seat to sit in for the 45 minutes we have of class. I sat there and rested my eyes waiting for Mr. Roper to walk through the door, sometimes the loud chatter box's and laughing was somewhat comforting knowing that not everything has to be or feel sad or angry, I'm starting to think school is better then my own house. I open my eyes when I hear Mr. Roper start talking.
"Ok guys! So- please take out you bell ringers and fill out your planners! that would be much appreciated. Ahem jack." He said staring into Jack's eyes. I love this class.
"So- as you can see the daily agenda says we will watch a movie-" Mr Roper barely finished talking when the class started cheering and "ooo'ing".
"I see that everyones excited,great!" He sated sarcastically.
