* * * * *

For weeks Drew, Keaton and Wes had been concerned about me. Now, it was my turn to really worry.

They have all always worked so hard. But i'd never seen them like this. I've been aware for a while of how tired they look, and how they hardly ever seemed to smile. So i decided to make them promise me they would meet me today in this little coffee place infornt of their house, so they could just rest a little and have fun.

I crossed my foot under the table glancing at my watch and took a sip from my coffee cup.

You shouldn't have gotten another cup on an empty stomach I told myself. I shouldn't be drinking coffee on an empty stomach, but i had felt bad just sitting and taking up a seat in the Cafe without ordering anything. I would've ordered one of those delicious baked croissants that smelled so good, but i knew i'd regret that later. Just as i went to raise my coffee cup to my lips again i saw the a familiar face and i smiled as i stood to greet him.

"Hey! Sorry to make you wait!" Drew called, crossing into the cafe and greeting me with a hug.

"Oh don't worry, you're exactly on time" i smiled and sat back down, Drew took off his coat and hang it over the chair across from him "Where is Wes and Keaton? They are supposed to be here!"

"I see some things haven't changed since yesterday" Drew grinned as he watched me check my watch again and glance out the window "How is my favorite neurotic control freak?" i shot him a look and threw a sugar packet at him, which bounced off his chest lightly, making him laugh.

"Shut up, I am not neurotic..." i muttered, gripping my coffee mug with both hands to try and calm myself "But if I were neurotic, I'd have every right to be neurotic today of all days"

"No reason to be neurotic… A little nervous, maybe, but not neurotic" he said, turning and thanking the waitress that had brought over a coffee cup for him and filled it without being asked.

"Whenever.... They promised they would be here. Where are they? I planned a great day for us"

"Grace, will you calm down? They will be here any second"

"Yeah, well they better be" Just as i took another sip, Drew's eyes widened and his eyebrows raised in acknowledgement to someone he saw in the distance out the window.

"Oh hey, there they are!" he said, waving casually in the direction of a mess of people.

As i glanced back i saw Wesley and Keaton walking in our direction i stood up and hugged Keaton "Finally!" i said and then hugged Wes.

But as Wes gave a step back somehow he managed to spill the contents of half my coffee on my shoes

"OH. MY. GOD." i screamed at him, not looking at him but down at my ruined shoes "SERIOUSLY WES?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

"Sorry, I..." he started to explain but i stormed past him.

"Whatever" i muttered darkly, pushing past Keaton and Drew and making my way to the bathroom.
