Jungkook's heart suddenly stopped at the sound of someone coming from behind him. No, it's not Yoongi's voice, but it's someone else's that is very familiar to his ears.
He immediately opened his eyes and turned his body, facing the person who had just made his heart stop beating and interrupted his daydream.
"Jin..?"

"Last time I tried to call you it didn't work. Maybe you blocked my number" Jungkook finally let out his voice.
"I've never blocked your number, but.. your number is also not on my phone. And I've never deleted it"
Jungkook just turned his head and walking away, then sitting back enjoying the night view around him. "Just forget it, it was years ago" he said.
Jin followed and sat beside him.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine, how about you? I'm sure your life will be better now. I know, now you've become a successful actor. And, you're also happy with your husband and family"
Jin was stunned for a moment when Jungkook tried to mention it.
"Yeah, I'm much better now and very grateful for it. But... I don't have anyone. I never married.. Taehyung"

Hearing Jungkook's statement, Jin remembered the conversation some time ago when he spent a gloomy night at a coffee shop.

Jungkook's hands clenched into fists, as if he was holding back anger when he heard that. For three years, now he just found out that he had fallen into the trap of those evils until he decided to lose and give up.
"But it's useless if I'm mad now. It's in the past" said Jungkook, who had given up on his past.
"I know..."
"We still have a future, life must go on. Just forget about our chaotic past"
"You really have grown up Jungkook.." Jin said while looking at Jungkook's face sincerely.
Jungkook just smiled at those words.
"I really miss that smile" Jin continued his words, which made Jungkook stop smiling and return his gaze nervously, his heart starting to beat faster.
"Do I still have a chance to fix all of this?"
He continued to ask and looked at Jungkook more deeply and full of hope. Jungkook hasn't answered yet, as if still silent and stunned by the warm gaze of the person in front of him.
"I guess there's no one else here but us"
Someone's sudden words startled the two of them.
"Yoongi.." Jungkook said nervously and woke up from his daydream while enjoying the beauty of Jin's gaze.
Jin was also surprised that he immediately distanced himself from Jungkook.
"Here's your coffee" Yoongi said walking closer to Jungkook, and handed him a cup of hot coffee.
"Thanks"
Jungkook awkwardly moved and accepted the coffee.
"Uhm by the way, he is Jin. and Jinnie, he is Yoongi" Jungkook tried to lighten the mood by introducing them to each other, so as not to look awkward between the three of them.
"Oh hi, I'm Jin. Nice to meet you"
"I'm Yoongi, Jungkook's close friend. We live together in Sydney"
While the two shook hands, Jin only smiled at the answer.
"It's getting late, shouldn't we go home? The air is very cold, you've been here for too long. I don't want you to get sick" said Yoongi who drew closer to Jungkook and slowly held his hand.
Jungkook was a little surprised by the action of his roommate, but he returned his grip.
"Uhm yeah, I guess we should go home now" Jungkook replied with a smile.
He looked at Jin for a while who also looked at him, then he walked away from Jin while holding Yoongi's hand.
Jin was just silent, he didn't try to stop them. With a heavy heart he saw the person he had longed for leave again, leaving him but with someone else.
After a few steps before Jungkook came down the stairs, he stopped his steps and turned around.
"Goodbye, Jin"
He said goodbye that night. Leaving Jin who was still standing silently on the roof of the empty building where he used to spend his time to heal his mood.
Before Jin could answer, Jungkook immediately went down the stairs again and left that place.
"Goodbye Jungkook..." Jin said quietly, there was only the sound of the wind blowing along with his bitter voice.
