"But you can't just cancel this meeting, Jin. The offer about this new drama will definitely make your career shine even more"

"Just rearrange the meeting for another day"

"You're not usually like this"

"I have other matters today. Please, Ken. Just arrange a meeting for another day"

"Hmmm fine.."

Jin immediately hung up the phone with Ken, his manager.

At noon today, it should be Jin's scheduled meeting with one of the big agencies, to discuss about a new drama that has Jin as one of the candidates for the main character.

But suddenly Jin changed the meeting schedule unilaterally since he was more concerned with going to another place, Jungkook's house.

After the phone call, he immediately got out of his car and walked towards his destination. He was nervous because he hadn't come to that house in a long time, but he tried to calm his mind.

Ding dong

He pressed the doorbell. Not long after, he could hear the sound of footsteps from inside the house getting closer to him behind the door.

Creaaak

"Hi.." greeted Jin, with an awkward smile.

"O.. hello Jin.. I didn't expect you to come here" answered Namjoon who was a little surprised when he welcomed guest into his house.

"I haven't visited your family in a long time, may I come in?"

"Oh.. o.. yeah.. please come in" Namjoon opened the door wider and invited his guest in.

"Thank you"

The two of them walked into the living room. And not long after, a woman came over to join them.

"Oh hi Jin, how are you? Haven't seen you in a long time. I thought you had forgotten about us, as we know that you are big actor now" said the mom, hugging Jin.

"I'm fine, but I'm sorry ma'am, I've been too busy lately, I should have visited here more often" Jin returned the hug with a smile.

Actually, it's not that he is busy so he can't make time to visit, but for the past three years he has tried to forget his memories with Jungkook, as well as this house, even though Jungkook's family is very kind to him.

"Now you call me Ma'am? You don't call me Mom anymore??"

"Oh... uhm.. sorry Mom.. I just feel awkward since I haven't seen you in a long time. I'm sorry"

"Hahaha its okay, just sit here, I'll make you a drink"

Jungkook's mom went to the kitchen leaving Jin together with Namjoon who was still there.

Now they both looked at each other awkwardly.

"The last time I heard from you was from Hoseok, you stopped teaching and decided to join the casting. Now you are successful, Jin. I'm proud of you too"

"Thank you Namjoon.." Jin replied.

But he couldn't hide it, he still felt awkward there, with eyes that couldn't stop looking at every corner of the room around him as if he was hunting for something.

"You came here to look for Jungkook?" Namjoon asked directly.

Jin, who was surprised to hear the question, immediately answered nervously.

"Oh.. uhm .. yeah... Is he here?"

"He left"

"Wh-- Where?? Back to Sydney??!"
