"What are you here for ,kol?" Damon asked ,certain he wouldn't get a direct answer.
"Ahh....Don't be scared . I'm not here for you" kol said as he looked over Damon's shoulder at a light brown haired girl who then gave him a subtle signal . Kol got up and moved towards the direction of the person she was pointing towards. Damon watched him go over to Saivy and he also rushed towards her.
"Hello, darling ." Said the dark brown haired guy in an Australian accent "I believe we haven't met.I'm kol" He said while extending his hand.
"Hi, kol." Saivy said as she put her hand in his.
Kol brought her hand close to his lips while keeping his eyes on the ring that she was wearing. He ever so softly licked the ring with his tongue and a smile appeared across his face. Then he kissed her hand right on top of the ring. Saivy found it strange. She could see a perfect blend of mischief and evil in his eye.
"What do you want from her?" Damon asked impatiently as he approached them .
Saivy could sense the tension in the air at this point.
"Oh, I just want this ring. "Kol said as he looked at that ring again and then forced it out of Saivy's finger.
"Hey ! My daylight ring" She said trying to snatch it back from him . Little did she know he was no ordinary human being just trying to mess with her, but one of the strongest vampires to ever walk the earth.
Kol instantly grabbed her wrist and said,
"there's no point in trying, darling. You know you won't succeed. Ask your buddy Damon here".
Saivy could feel the strength with which he was holding her arm. She could feel he was stronger than her and she knew he was right , there is no point trying. Kol let go of her arm and and an evil smile formed across his face . Within an instant, he was gone. Saivy ran after him as he left the club. But before she could do anything she saw him leave in a mercedes with the light brown haired girl from before.
"What was that? He just took my ring and I couldn't do anything....and neither did you!" Saivy exclaimed.
"He is kol . One of the first vampires to ever exist. If he wants the ring, then he gets the ring. Neither you nor ANYone can do anything about it." Damon said.
"Yeah, I've heard of him. He's stronger than us" Aaron said," .He could be dangerous "
"Damon is over 200 years old. I think he could be a match. How old is kol?" Saivy asked
"1000 " Aaron said.
"1000 years ?! As in 10 centuries !"
"Ummhmm"
"He's alive since the 11th century "
"Yes ,that is what 1000 years is" Aaron replied, with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk.
Damon began talking, "First, we need to get you a new ring...."
"He might have witnessed the evolution of the wheel"
"......before the sun comes up" Damon said as he stared at her.
"But why did he take my daylight ring?" Saivy asked.
" The ring belonged to the one who turned you, so, the answer lies with your sire. And since you don't know him , no answers for you." Damon said.
Saivy sighed and said, "I'll go home and get another ring" . Then she started moving out of the club.
"I'm talking about a daylight ring ,not some pack of chips just lying around at your house" Damon said , questioning her sanity at this point.
"I know . I have one at home."
Aaron and Damon looked at her with confused faces. And from across the club , Kris looked at them with a suspicipus look too.
"Let's talk on the way, shall we?" Saivy said and they got into Damon's car and left for her house.
" Remember, I told you that Vampire who turned me gave me a Tacky ring. It was big and Tacky and attracted a lot of unwanted attention .I was even getting into trouble at school for accessorising , so, when I met this friend of my mother's who also happened to be a witch .......She was kind enough to give me a new ring, which attracted less attention and was convenient .......the one that kol took .So, the answer lies with that witch."
Damon was quite surprized. She isn't as naive as I previously thought she was. Maybe she even bears more secrets than she pretends not to know. Damon thought to himself.
"If you know where she lives then we can just go and ask her, right? " Aaron said and Saivy nodded.
After a while they reached her home.
" I'll go grab the ring . I am sorry, I'm not inviting you in, because I can't explain this to my parents " saivy said as she went closer to her house," And also because you are scary bloodsucking monsters" She added and went in.
She got the ring , as she said. She sat in the car and wore it. Damon looked at it and his heart almost skipped a beat. He was overwhelmed by a familiar ache. He recognized the ring.
