The Lion Guard: Kion X Rani

Chapter 4

About 5 minutes later, Simba, Nala, and Kions sister, Kiara came outside the den, and sat near the rock stairs wich led from the top of Priderock to the bottom.

"See ya guys, when I get back! Remember Fuli is in charge. Ya alright with that Fuli?" Kion said, but made sure that was okay with Fuli first, as the guard nodded, then looking towards Fuli.

"You know it, Kion! We'll see ya, when you get back. Stay safe!" FUli said, everybody nodding and shouting a 'bye', 'see ya, or just, 'stay safe'.

"You coming, son?" King Simba shouted, over to his son, as Kion turned around.

"Coming dad!" Kion shouted, then turning back to the guard, "See ya guys!"

Kion ran over to his family, as they all started on their journey to the tree of life, the guard shouting, bye, as they all walked aross the Pridelands.

As Kion, Kiara, Simba, and Nala was just starting to come out of the Pridelands, Kion almost slipped down a slope, as him and Kiara had been running an chasing each other, so Kion didnt see where he was running, so Kiara skidded to a stop, but ended up bumping into Kion, as he went rolling down the slope, which happened to go into the Outlands, Kiara also stopping just intime before she fell as well.

"Kion!?" Queen Nala shouted, as they stopped and looked down, seeing Kion lieing down, as King Simba jumped down the slope, and stood at Kions side, nudjing him and helping him up, Kio wincing in pane, as Simba had touched one of his cuts, which he had gotten from Sanji.

"You okay, Kion?" Kion turned to see, Kiara and his mother, skidding down the slope, and Kiara running upto him, and nuzzled him.

"Yep, all good! Not like i cant handle the pane." Kion smirked, as Kiara rolled her eyes, as they all carried on their jorney.

They all were coming across the desert, and they have not stopped to get a drink or rest before they entered, but it was about mid day, as they hadnt stopped, wanting to get their as soon as possible, Kion grunting, as he clouched down, Kiara panting, but head still pretty high up, Queen Nala and King Simba, still stood up straight.

"We are almost at the end of the desert!" King Siba announced, as Kion perked his ears up, but stopped, when he heard a massive bang under neath him, when he stepped forward, Nala, Simmba, and Kiara turning around, to look at him.

"How did you make that sound?" Kiara asked, Kion shrugging and lifting his paw and looked down at the sand.

"I dont know, I just stepped forward, and it made a banging sound?" Kion said, as he put his paw back down and it making another bang.

"Woah!" Kiars shouted, as she started jumping up and down, the ground making maasive banging noises, but Kion grunted and growled at his sister, as she had acidentally kicked sand in his face.

"Sorry Kion!" Kiara apoligised, as the two siblings turned around, seeing their parents rolling their eyes at them.

"Come on, we are almost at the tree of life! Just a few more hours." King Simba had said, as the family carried on walking, but soon they came to the exit of the desert, seeing them on a cliff looking thing, as Kion looked out into the view, Kiara, Simba, and Nala getting a drink, as Kion saw the Tree Of Life in view.

"You should come get a drink, son?" King Simba said, them all looking over to him, seeing the sun at its highest, Kion staring at the view.

"Uhm, I'm good!" Kion said, but that didnt last long, till his mother shouted.

"Kioin, you havnt had a drink at all, and we just came across a 100 degree sesert!? Go get a drink!" Queen Nala shouted, causing Kion to sigh and go get a drink, him likeing the fresh, cool, water infront of him.

After a few more minutes, the family had gotten a move on, Kiara aweing at the view ahead of thenm, just a speck of the Tree Of Life, infront of her, meanwhile, Kion didnt really care, about anything at that moment, as he had picked up his pace.

"Kion!" Kion turned his head, to find his sister running to him, as he suddenly stopped.

"Tag, your it!" He shouted, as she nudjed his side, then raan ahead, Kion watching his sister run ahead of him for a minute, then running after her, their parents watching them, as they rolled there eyes.

"Get back here!" Kion laughed, as he jumped up onto his sister and nudjed her with his nose.

"Tag!" Kion shouted, jumping off of his sister and running, but stopping again, when he almost fell off a ledge, with led into some water.

"ion, are you okay?" Kiara asked, seeing her younger brother backing away from the ledge, there parents approuching the two siblings.

"Uhm, yeah!" Kion said, turning to his father.

"We have to go around." He said, him and Nala starting to walk around the lake, Kion running infront of his parents and sister.

"Wait! We can just use that log to cross." Kion said, pointing towards a log, with his paw.

"Good idea!" Simba said, as they all walked over towards the log, him motioning towards Nala, for her to go first. In, which she did, then Simba.

Kiara smiled, but frowned, as she walked onto the log, her paw slipping, but her quickly going low and looking down at a piece of the branch which broke off.

"Kiara!?" Nala and Simba shouted at the same time, Kion looking around frantically, but his head snapped at his sister, who had fallen into the water, without thinking, he dived into the water, not caring if he got hurt, but his sister not being safe not leaving his mind.

He grabbed his sister, by her scruff, before she hit the water, then they hit the water, Kiara kicking her legs, but the current being to strong, did nothhing, Kion also knicked his legs, slowly going towards the surface, as he had lost grip of Kiara, when they hit the water.

As, he came upto the surface, he looked around frantically, but seeing some splashed, down on the other side of the ledge, he saw a little slope coming from out of the water upto where their parents were.

Kion dived into the water, and kicking his legs, but letting the tide take him, he reached his sister, as he grabbed onto  massive rock and climbed onto it, Kiara gripping onto a branch, but Kion jumped, hitting Kiara, making her go onto the ledge with the slope, as he hit the water once more, he quickly came to a dirt wall, which led out, so he climbed it.

He reached up the wall, seeing his parents checking on his sister, but his father instantly runnning over to him, as he stood up and coughed all of the water out of his lungs.
