Crystal Waters

I followed the others as we drove down as fast as we could to Ninjago City. My thoughts were racing around my brain like race cars on a track.

I stopped fast in my tracks and hit the break once I saw the burning city before me. I jumped out and ran as fast as I could.

I threw my ninja mask over my face and practically leaped inside the closest building. I coughed and coughed as I inhaled smog and smoke.

The distance screams I could hear were terrorizing. 

"HELP!"

"PLEASE HELP US"

I dashed towards the closest door. I kicked it open as it was already half on the door frame. I lifted my hands to use my powers but...

but...

My powers weren't working!

I tried and tried again but no use. My powers weren't working at all. I coughed again and walk towards the two people laying on the floor. 

I slung my arms around both of them and carried them out into safety. 

I went back into the building, going into another room and saving another family. I tried to use my water powers again but no avail. The family got out of the building but as I went back in I heard huge crashes behind me. I turned around to face a wall crumbling down.

I coughed and ran away. As I reached the exit I felt a big hand clasp over my eyes and drag me away. I felt something wrap around my neck.

Help.

I can't breathe.

I wheeze out and tried to scream but nothing happened. The others started screaming my name as I struggled. The big hand in front of my eyes disappeared, but only to have this random guys' arm wrap around my waist so he could hold me tighter.

As I struggled more the hand around my neck squeezed harder.

Black dots invaded my vision as it became more blurrier. I took one last final breath before closing my eyes,

And dropping to the floor.

I opened my eyes again, my neck was in pain and all swollen. I felt like I was floating but I was only being carried. I coughed and wheezed as my vision started to come back. I heard low talking and rustling all around.

Once I finally realised where I was and what was going on. I felt someone place me down on something warm and cosy and place a blanket over my body.

I don't know who it was but I grabbed their wrist and pulled them down next to me.
