Chapter 11

Alaska's PoV

I didn't sleep. I'm watching them resting. In the first place, I don't want to sleep. East is on my side.

"North was so maarte as a boy" he let out "But he's caring and concerned at me" he added.

"He told me na sometimes you're here," he said as he stares at North's coffin
"But he didn't say he didn't like you. He was happy when you came back to your family" he added. He's telling me about what North's confessed about me.

"I told him that we're siblings" I stopped for a while, "I told him. I promised him that no more secrets. He was happy. Do you remember the time that you thought North is lost, he was in my coffee shop, eating steak? He's requesting a steak kasi" he explained.

"North is so innocent. We will find his justice" I declared. I can assure myself, I can find Chronos. This isn't the time to give up.

"You're married to Lyle Koa Fisioterapueta. You didn't even invite me, you bastard" he changed the topic.

I explained to him what happened, why I got involved in their family.

"Fisioterapuetas are involved to Chronos' Organization back 1900's"

He whispered na ikakagulat ko. How did he know?

"I told you, I was in the organization. If you're planning to find him, he's dead. The organization is gone"

"Papa will give justice to North" he added. His father is a judge. East is a lawyer but ended up running a business about coffees. His father forces him to study law. He was a board passer but he chose what he wants. He just doesn't like giving legal advices to anyone.

*phone ringing

It's Lyle. He's in the hospital, taking care of Nana. East is in the kitchen, makikikain daw siya.

I go outside, near the pool.

"How are you?" He asked by the phone.

"I'm not okay," I admitted

"I'm here"

"You're in the hospital, stupid" I blurted. I felt something heavy on my shoulder.

He put his head on my shoulder. He's here, may patawag-tawag pa.

"I ain't stupid," he said and kissed my cheeks. Tsansing ah. I was ready to punch his shoulder but he hugs me.

"Everything's gonna be alright" he's now rubbing my back.

"We'll find Chronos," he said "Nana is in the recovery room. She told me everything. And...." He stopped

"And...What?" I waited

"Nothing" he smiles bitterly.

"Sasampalin kita" sometimes he's annoying.

"Wala nga.You know, just sleep.I know you're tired" then he smiles genuinely.

"Ano nga?" Naiinis na ako.

"Wala" he keeps on insisting na wala, pero meron naman. He wants me to get pissed.He is pissing me off,really.

"Uno" I started. He smiles even more. It keeps me something that I ain't used to it.

"Well," he started.

I knew,

"You want me not to stop keep on trying to fall for you?" I asked. He stopped. I knew it.

"Am I right, Lyle?" I asked again in a serious tone. Hindi na siya sumasagot.Nakakunot lang ang kanyang noo.

"Are you a mind reader?" He asked
