Months ago: YG'S party

Yiren stood, dressed up in a waitress' outfit, holding a tray full of drinks in the kitchen, doing breathing exercises repeatedly. Why, one might question.

Because Lee the great Minho suggested that they could meet on the very night when Aisha and Chan were supposed to be making their relationship official.

The manager of the catering service commanded her and a couple of other waitresses to move out of the kitchen, and Yiren rushed out impatiently, hoping to see Minho as soon as possible.

Knowing him, he was a person who steered clear the situations which would arise scandals or gossips. And if this was an idea from that same person, he must've thought it through.

"Guys! Stray Kids are here!" a fellow waitress gushed, "I can't wait to see the mystery girl's face!"

"Yeah!" Yiren, the greatest actress of the decade, faked excitement amidst her nervousness, "That's the only thing I'm excited about tonight!"

"I know!"

Yiren made a face, and mumbled to herself, "This world doesn't lack morons."

And cheers arose as the most-awaited-for men entered the premises, and cameras' shutters went off at their arrival. Yiren held her breath as the members of Stray Kids walked in one by one, and was on the verge of fainting due to holding her breath for so long when her gaze landed upon him.

Lee Minho, looking ethereal as ever.

With his hair styled back beautifully, just a few strands falling on his forehead, his lips carried a small smile as he looked around the hall, his eyes searching endlessly. And she knew that search was for her.

Perhaps she was looking at him with heart eyes, because the other waitress spoke, "Handle yourself, girl. Bang Chan and his girl are still not here. I can't wait to be gay for her!"

"Your priorities are definitely set, I see," Yiren mindlessly nodded, still looking at Minho from afar.

"Go! Serve them something!"

"Why c-can't you go?" Yiren protested.

"Because I'm waiting for her! I'll be the first one to serve her!" The waitress pushed Yiren forward, and she timidly stepped towards Minho, who stood beside Hyunjin and Changbin.

And remembering the code phrase they had set for meeting each other, she walked over to them with her tray of drinks, and served it to them.

"No, thanks," Minho dismissively waved a hand at her, too invested in searching for Yiren, when she spoke the phrase,

"Lee Know is cute."

Minho's head snapped towards her, and his eyes widened.

I know it wasn't that good, but I tried, okay? I'm dizzy and my head hurts and my voice is practically dead and I'm breathing from my mouth because I can't breathe. Now THIS chapter is what I could produce rn :((
