Nightime troubles

Techno woke up to little claws shaking his shoulder. A sizzling sound could be heard as Techno opened his eye to reveal his black and white son crying, the tears burning his face. "Hey, hey, hey, why are you crying?" Techno asked, concerned.

Oh no, who hurt the baby

I'm up, what happened?

Ignore child, SLEEP

"Papa," Ranboo sniffed and Techno carefully used the edge of the bed sheet to wipe away the tears. "I had a bad dream," he said, a scared warble coming out of his mouth. The piglin hybrid sighed. "Oh Ranboo, come 'ere." The enderlin all but collapsed into Techno's arms, shaking and crying. "I dreamed that you went away and never came back." Techno's heart broke at this and he hugged his kid closer.

"Listen to me baby," he said, bringing them both to eye level. "I will never leave you, ever." Ranboo looked comforted at that and yawned, rubbed his eyes. Ranboo laid down, head resting on Techno's chest. "G'night papa," he said sleepily. His breathing evened out and Techno stroked his hoof through his hair.

Techno grumbled and held his son closer. His eyelids drooping, he closed his eyes. Before sleep took him he vowed one thing. I will never leave Ranboo again.
