"Ma that is not fair." I hear Sam says when I walk in the house.

"What's not fair?" I ask.

"Mom thank god you are back from your trip. Can you please tell Ma that it is not fair that I have to be in the house by 12am."

"12am? I would have said 11pm." I smile at her.

"I should have known you would have been on her side." Sam says.

"You okay?" Regina ask.

"Yeah.. I'm fine baby.. You okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine. You seem different." She says.

"Like what? Because clearly you are hiding something. Did you sleep with her?" Regina ask.

"For fuck sakes Regina no I did not sleep with her or anybody else late for that matter.."

"Regina I didn't fuck nobody or kiss anyone... To clear that up, No I did not cheat on you.. Thanks for trusting me by the way." I grab my coat and walk towards the door.

"And where are you going?" She ask.

"To get some air because clearly I am the bad guy right now."

"Emma I'm sorry.. Please don't leave." She grabs my hand and pulls me away from the door.

"I didn't cheat on you Regina." I say looking at her.

"Okay.. I believe you, but Emma you are hiding something."

"Yes but fucking somebody is not it.. Damn Regina." I yell.

"Then what is it?"

"I got a promotion." I say,

"And why is that so hard for you to tell me?"

"Because it's in Spain and I will be gone for 18 months."

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah.. That's why I didn't say anything."

"So what? You were just going to leave and not say anything?"

"Yeah Regina. I was going to leave my wife and three kids behind while I go catch bad guys." I say walking away.

"Emma stop.."

"Come on Regina, you know damn well I wasn't going to leave you guys.. I was waiting on them to call me back so I could decline the offer, but here you go Assuming shit as always." I say as I'm walking up stairs and she's following me.

"Emma I'm sorry."

"Okay."

"Where.. Where are you going?"

"To take a shower?"

"Why.. Are doing all of this stuff right now.. Let's talk first and.."
