"Dear Joey, I was on the instagram looking at my friends account. She had just gotten married and I wasn't able to come because my mom was in the hospital and had passed away. Then I saw an ad for This Person Doesn't Exist.com. It was a website that took photos from the internet and took facial futures from other people and made it into one person. I thought it was interesting. So I click the ad. I kept looking at the pictures and I saw a picture of me I thought posted on my Facebook.
I went to see if I was just imagining things but when I looked my account didn't exist. I called my other friend who couldn't go to the wedding because of work. She answered " Hello who is this". She said "It's me Ella." I said "I'm sorry I don't know an Ella" she said. I hung up the phone. I saw my mom had come to visit. I gave her a hug or at least tried but I went right through her.
I ran into the street a car almost hit me they didn't see me either. I ran to the bus stop there was an old women there. "When's the next bus" no response. When I got back home I couldn't get in. The door was locked. Pulled my key out from my pocket and they weren't there. My wallet was there but just the wallet my credit card, ID, and Drivers license were gone. Then everything went black. When I woke up I didn't know where I was.
I couldn't remember my own name. I'm telling you this to seek help. I think I'm going insane. If any of you can find out what happened let me know. Sincerely, Ella."
When I looked down the paper I wrote letter on it was blank.
