Chapter 1: The sin of death

The world had seven witches each had unimaginable power, but someone named the witch of envy who killed the other witches appeared thus she was the 8th witch that one should never mention, But what if another witch that laid dormant was to appear

The witch of death, she had the power that made her stronger for the lifes of the people around her, the more battles she saw the stronger she got, anything she touched died, eventually she went into hiding out of fear, after years she reappeared to fight the witch of envy and was killed, she died alone with no one to remember her

But all this happened hundreds of years ago now the world was at peace or so it looked

One day on earth, Subaru Natsuki was walking out of the convenience store with a bag of miscellaneous items before he collapsed and his soul was brought into a grassland where eight woman sat drinking tea

The eight women directed their focus towards Subaru who looked back with a surprised expression

One of the eight women infront of Subaru stood up, She had long dark green hair, her face was covered by a semi-transparent black veil with floral patterns her amber eyes shined through the veil, she also wore a black dress and elbow length gloves along with a skull necklace that matched with a bracelet of similar design

"I've chosen you as my apostle, I hope you keep my reincarnation safe" whispered the woman before Subaru was pushed through a door that appeared out of thin air

The woman returned to what she was doing before Subaru came

When Subaru opened his eyes he was in an alleyway, his tracksuit changed into a red kimono that covered a white layer underneath, his shoes turned into sandals and his plastic bag turned into a black bangasa or sturdy rain umbrella that was made of some type of light weight metal, on the other hand his hair became longer and his brown eyes became gold and his body became taller and more fit

Subaru looked at a puddle that reflected what he looked like now, at first Subaru was shocked but quickly regain composure and left the ally

He stepped out of the ally and into the streets, the women on the street looked at him with a blushed expression gossiping to each other how beautiful or handsome he is

The first thing that came to Subaru's mind was to find a job so he can survive in the new world he is in now thus he began wondering around town looking for a job

he eventually reached a cafe in an ally that had a 'now hiring' sign pasted on its door, out of desperation and a little bit of hope he opened the door and was greeted by an old man wiping a wine glass

"ah, you must be the owner my names Subaru and i came here to apply for a job" Subaru said with a smile

The old man looked at Subaru and said "my names Wilhelm and we're not hiring the sign you saw outside was two years old" Subaru looked disappointed "but I do know a place you can get a job at if you have any experience as a butler"

Subaru had no experience but he wanted to give it a try "may I ask for the directions" asked Subaru as Wilhelm gave him a map and a letter

Subaru left the shop and followed the map directions eventually leading him to mansion but he was stopped by the guards outside, Subaru showed them the letter and he was let inside

The guards brought Subaru to Crusch, a women with dark green hair and amber eyes 168 cm in height, Subaru blushed as soon as he saw her

Crusch waved for the guards to leave as she sat down waving for Subaru to sit

"do you have any experience as a butler" asked Crusch, Subaru was about to say no before something that looked like a black ball entered his chest and his body filled with memories of a butler that had years of experience
