A new friend

You are a security guards at the children's attraction Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. You work the night shift there and your duty is to make sure the Animatronics are in place. The place you actually felt safe at was the Daycare, you knew the Animatronic there wasn't like the others, he was childish and kind, that place made you feel safe.

You walk around the Pizzaplex, making sure things are in order. You finally reach the Daycare and you take a little break. You try not to make a sound so you don't activate the robot, but you accidentally step on a squishy toy and it made a sound, leading to the Animatronic to wake up.

The lights come on and the Daycare music starts to play. You try to find a good place to hide but before you could even turn, he spotted you.
"Oh hoho! Look what we have here! A new friend!" He peeked out of his little area and jumped down.
"You're a little big to be a kid aren't you?" He picked you up and examined you. You stayed silent, not knowing what to say.
"Oh! Pardon me! Where are my manners? I'm Sundrop!" He put you down. You stared at him and spoke
"Well.. hello I guess.. I'm Y/N." You backed up
"Hello! You must be new to the Daycare! Have a look around! Have fun! But whatever you do, keep the lights on.. on.. on." He then jumped into the ball pit and relaxed. You didn't know what to do, say, or even think.. all you knew is that you can't leave now, it'll make him upset, especially sense you just met. You climbed up the play place and had a seat. Getting tired you lay down and take a tiny nap, barely being to nap thanks to the music playing, you wake up 20 minutes later to Sundrop leaning over you.
"A- AHH!" You scream.
"SORRY NEW FRIEND! You just looked so cute when you were sleeping!" He stands up straight and lends you a helping hand.
"Thanks I guess..-." You take his hand and get up. You guys just stood there silently not realizing you guys were still holding hands. Once you guys realized you guys didn't really bother to let go, he made you feel comfortable and safe, so holding his hand was a very nice thing to do.
"Uhm.. wanna go to your little hide out?" You suggest.
"Sure!" You guys than ran to his little hide out/area and he held you in his arms, jumping back up there. He then places you down and you looked around.
"Woah, I've never seen what this place.. it's looks so cozy.." You walk around the tiny space, admiring how kid-ish it looked.
"It's so cute!" You say
"Thank you sunshine!" He takes your hand and runs to his little bed. This 7-10 foot tall Animatronic wasn't so bad, he was actually quite cute.
"Hey.. Sun? You are.. kinda cute, y'know?" He turned a bit red and looked away.
"You goof.." You hugged him and laid on his lap.
"I don't want you to leave. :("
"What if I don't?.." You looked at him and he looked at you back, with an excited look.
"YOU CAN STAY?!" He shouted.
"Well, sure! I have nobody to go home to anyways." You both agreed on staying, and that Sun would keep you hidden. This led to a really great friendship but it escalated.

"Hey Sun... I might like you.." You admit
"I like you too Sunshine! You are the bestest friend I've ever had!" He then hugged you.
"Not like that... I love you Sun.." He then looks at you and pats your back
"I love you too Sunshine!" You looked at him in shock and kissed his cheek. This was the best couple of weeks for you.. and it got better everyday. You are lucky you have met Sundrop, and you will never regret it.
