Prologue

Eevee's POV

Today, is the darkest day in the land of Allearth forest. The day where lives begun to crumble, destroyed to ash because of the resurrection of Yveltal, The God of Destruction. His large, crimson coloured wings, his big body that stretched into the shape of the letter 'Y', and also his sharp eyes like the eyes of a falcon, who watched us little pokèmon running away avoiding death in a panic.

How could this happen? Maybe that's what I'm thinking right now. Yes. Alongside all of those little pokèmon running away in fear, there's me, an Eevee. Me and the other pokèmon running away aimlessly avoiding Yveltal's Oblivion Wing attack that can destroy anything within seconds. I looked up. The sky has turned dark. I don't even know anymore if now day or night. But what I do know is it's been a long time since The God of Destruction woke up from his slumber and started the attack. If this continues, it will not long until half of the Allearth forest will be destroyed.

"Vee!" I squeaked in pain when I accidentally trip and fell to the ground.

'Hey, you okay?' a Watchog saw me fell and immediately went to me, offering his little paw to support me.

'I-I'm okay. Thank you very much,' I answered. But, the second after I said that...

*BOOM!*

If only we didn't dodge just a little bit, we would've been killed by the Oblivion Wing aimed towards us earlier. After that attack, Watchog immediately runs away while I just stayed quiet in my place.

Where's Xerneas? According to legend, it supposed to be at times like this, when the God of Destruction appears, The Goddess of Life (I prefer Xerneas to be female and Yveltal as a male even though it's written on the Wiki that both of them are genderless, so I'll just keep writing them like that, for the plot :3), will put a stop to the destruction. But for some reason, she does not appear.

"...!" suddenly, I saw an Oddish stood right in front of me, but what surprised me is, in front of the Oddish, appeared Yveltal, preparing to launch his next Oblivion Wing. At first I don't understand why it didn't run away. But when I take a look closely, it turned out that Oddish's feet got stuck in a tree root.

'Watch out!' I screamed, as I felt the four of my legs take me towards the Oddish without hesitation. I quickly used my Swift attack to destroy the tree root it stuck in, and bring it out of there.

'Hurry and run!' I said.

'Thank you very much!' Oddish nodded, as it then runs away. I also was preparing myself to run, but...

"...!" oh, crap. At time like this it was my turn to be stuck. I struggled, tried to free myself as the Oblivion Wing started to get close to me. But the root I was stuck in doesn't even move a bit. And when I realized it, it was all too late...

Dark. All parts of my body had gone numb. I can't move even one of my body parts. It's almost felt like, all of my organs failed to work.

Ah...That's right. The God of Destruction got me. So that means...I am now dead? Do I have to accept my fate, and my time of death? Or, should I wait for Xerneas, the Goddess of Life, to bring me back?

"Do you want to live?"

"...?!" my eyes snapped open the moment both of my ears heard a very strange and heavy voice. 'Who's that?!' I automatically asked.

"Do you want to live?" the voice echoed again, asking the exact same thing.

'What do you mean?!' I shouted again, without able to move my body at all.

"Do you want to live? Creature from Allearth..."

What...? It knew I'm from Allearth forest? Does that mean, it's from there too? A pokèmon?

"Death comes for you when you saved other beings. Life is really without morals. Very ironic..." the voice spoke again.

'I don't know what you're talking about!' I screamed at it. No answer. In a moment the silence covering up again in the darkness.

Dang it...I cursed in my mind.

"...You think you deserved this?" suddenly the voice came again, and I immediately stay alerted.

'What did you say?'

"Die after kindly helping other beings. Do you think you deserved this?"

"..." I stayed quiet. Why is this weird creature's words very strange? It's as if it knew about life and death. But as far as I know, it's not Xerneas, nor Yveltal. It means that it did not belong in Allearth. So, who is it exactly...?

"Let me ask you again. Do you want to live?" the same question, again. It's almost as if, it can revive living beings like Xerneas.

'Why you keep asking that? As if like you can revive me back...' I mumbled.

"..." silence. It doesn't answer. But then, right at that moment when it doesn't answer that is, I realized my position.

'But...If it's true...' I murmured.

"..." the creature still doesn't answer. So I decided to continue my words.

'If it's true that I can live again, I...I want to live...I don't want to die yet...' a tear escaped my eye and dripped down my cheek as I decided to refuse my fate.

"I can make it true for you..." the voice said again. "You can be revived. Is that really what you want?"

'Yes! I want to live! There are still a lot of things I want to do! Go on an adventure, finding a trainer who loves me, evolved into a cool and amazing eeveelution...I want to live!'

"Even if your life continues in another world?"

'No problem, I don't mind! I want to live, no matter in which world. I refuse to die! I don't want to die!'

"Your wish is now come true. Enjoy your new life, my little creature..."

A second after the voice said that, a light came from behind my back, and I got thrown away...
